Welcome to VIT. Not VJTI! But you can get the joy.
Placements: According to our seniors, the percentage of students placed in Computer Engineering is greater than 90%. Top recruiters are TCS and Jio. You can expect an average salary of 5 Lacs, with the highest being more than 20 LPA (off-campus) in the Computer Engineering Department. Internships start from the 3rd year. I am in 2nd year, so I don't know much, but seniors told me that most students can get an internship if they maintain their LinkedIn profile. Be sure to keep your LinkedIn profile updated. Top roles are in the software department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is one of the best in Mumbai. Free Wi-Fi and well-equipped labs are provided. The library is also quite large. The food made in the canteen is very good and affordable. There are also two cafes, Nescafe and Cafe Coffee Day, and a Ribbons & Balloons shop where you get a variety of puffs and sweets. The college also organizes various fests and sports tournaments. There are two gymkhanas, one even with a PS5, and they include various indoor games such as carrom, chess, table tennis, pool, and air hockey.
Faculty: The curriculum is based on the latest NEP (National Education Policy). I would say it is pretty up-to-date compared to some other colleges. The applications of the subject are properly taught to us by the faculty members, though some improvements might be needed. Some subjects are outdated or not required in our field. I think of them as extra, and yes, you need to give their exams properly.
Other: My campus life in the first year was pretty good and easy. The library has a pile of books, like a whole floor comprised of books. There are 5-6 copies of the same book, as there might be a need for two or more students to have the same book. A stationery shop is also provided inside the campus. Every year during winter, there are sports competitions like tug-of-war, football, lagori, etc., as well as indoor games tournaments.

"Exploring Opportunities at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology".
Placements: Basically, my batch is ENTC, also called Electronics and Telecommunication. In the ENTC batch, students have applied to both hardware and software fields, while some students have gone to the research field or pursued a Master’s degree from India or abroad. Major companies that came, as far as I know, are TCS, Cognizant, JIO, Samsung, and many more, while some students applied off-campus and got an excellent package of 18 LPA. While students in the 3rd year applied for internships in some companies, 30-40% of students got internships in this college, whether it is on-campus or off-campus.
Infrastructure: Vidyalankar Institute of Technology offers a vibrant campus life for students to blend their academics with social life, cultural, and various extracurricular activities. VIT’s classrooms are well-equipped with smartboards, projectors, and Wi-Fi, creating an innovative environment. There are also 3-4 well air-conditioned classrooms. For VIT, there is no hostel available, so if students are coming from other cities, they are used to finding their own stay near Wadala or Dadar.
Faculty: Yes, of course, teachers in VIT are very helpful, and every teacher in VIT is an expert in their own field. Many of the teachers are holding advanced degrees from IITs, foreign universities, and many more. The teaching quality is also very interactive, and it is industry-ready. Professors often incorporate case studies, real-world project building, and technological tools to make learning dynamic and engaging. Semester exams are not that difficult; they're between easy to moderate. As VIT is an autonomous college, the passing percentage is 40% for internals, mid-semester exams, and end-semester exams.
Other: My batch comprises students with diverse interests, from entrepreneurs to coding enthusiasts. Many of the students also excelled in inter-college fests, coding contests, technical competitions, and published research papers in reputed journals. Over 90% secured internships or full-time roles from this college, and the environment of the college is also very energetic and competitive, which helps students in real-world industrial use.

Education and Facilities at VIT Mumbai.
Placements: Placements at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology are strong, with TCS, Infosys, and L&T offering roles. Eligibility includes a 60% minimum. Average package: 4 LPA, the highest: 12 LPA. 80% secure jobs, those who don't get have to apply from outside. It offers internships with companies like Infosys, TCS, and L&T.
Infrastructure: I like the library where you will get numerous books of your field which helps you in academics as well as increase your practical knowledge. The Wi-Fi is free inside the campus, and all classrooms have projectors. There is a place for playing indoor games, PC games, etc.
Faculty: The curriculum is well designed and focuses towards the industry level. There is a very practical approach in almost every course. Exams are timely conducted, and results are published on practical knowledge. As the college is autonomous, there is combined passing for every subject which reduces the risk of failures.
Other: I mainly chose VIT Mumbai for its autonomy curriculum; it is very industry-related and has a practical approach towards problems. The admission process was smooth, with fixed cutoffs for various branches, and CET scores are the first priority for them. Campus life at VIT is enjoyable and very active throughout the day. It also has various clubs like coding, cultural, traditional, and robotics. The club community is very supportive and friendly for freshers.

Amazing college life at VIT.
Placements: According to me, about 70% of students are placed on campus. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Jio, Qualcomm, and JP Morgan come to hire our college students. Our college has a compulsory internship in the 3rd year so we can improve our hands-on skills.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best part of my college because it has the best infrastructure compared to other colleges. It has AC classrooms. It has the facility of V-refer, in which all the lectures are recorded and uploaded there, which helps students to study topics or revise them.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and give the best out of them to make us understand the topic. All the teachers are not good, but I can say that 80% of the faculty are good at explaining concepts. The theory part is helpful to a smaller part, but the practical is really very helpful.

An honest review from an upcoming engineer.
Placements: I am in my 2nd year. I am pursuing a BE degree in information technology. The highest salary package offered is approximately 37 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, etc. Placements are not 100%, but a good amount of students get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is outstanding. Every classroom has air conditioning and smart boards for faculty members to teach. Our college has Wi-Fi. Labs and the library are good. Overall the campus has a vibrant feeling all around. There are multiple cafeterias and canteen which serve good food.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and highly qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. The teaching is top-notch. They don't mind helping to solve doubts after lectures. The course curriculum is relevant but in the end, every student has to work on their skill set. Semester exams are moderate. Most of the students pass.
Other: I am a coding enthusiast and wanted to understand how everything works, and this built my interest in taking this course. Events and activities are held frequently on campus. Events take place on a regular basis.

One should definitely consider this college for admission.
Placements: In a classroom, there are around 60-70 students. Some opt for campus placements, and some pursue government exams, M.Sc. abroad, or the GATE exam. I remember there was an interview for a company where 156 students applied, out of which only 5 got selected, and vacancy available was 7. We should be absolute skilled to secure a job here. The highest salary package offered is 37 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are clean. Computer labs are outdated, it consist of old dual-core PCs, but each PC has Wi-Fi. College also has a library which contains many book and a seating area for practice and studying. Canteen food is good but little expensive for hostellers. college canteen food is good but little expensive for hostellers.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. They always students helps solve our doubts. Most of the teachers have a Master's or Ph.D. degree. Curriculum is not up to date, it just helps to clear basic. We have to learn by our own using YouTube or Google. Semester exams are very easy, as the college is autonomous, and rarely someone fails to clear.
Other: College organizes many events each week, and anyone can participate.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
