I'm feeling great to be a part of VIT.

Placements: I was pursuing MS here, and about 20%-30% of students were placed for internships with well-known companies. Students are also getting great opportunities for winter internships and live-projects which are providing market exposure. About 60% of students were placed before the end of the course. The college has an active placement cell, and it works well for students.

It is a good college to hang out.

Placements: I have not been placed yet. Actually, I want to be placed, wherein I could earn some money, but it is not happening here. I am still getting a negative reply when I ask the placement authority to check my name for the interviews which are being held on the campus. The only reply which I am getting is 'wait'.

Overall, VIT is a nice college according to its infrastructure & teaching.

Placements: 60% students got placed in my batch, but our senior batch has faced a little bit of problem with placements. The highest salary was 7 LPA, and the lowest would be 2.4 LPA, and the average would be 3.4 LPA. Most of the companies that have visited our college are mainly for software engineer profiles. I don't have any idea about the internship as I was not part of any internship, but our college students are associated with internships.

Vidyalankar Institute Of Technology is located at Wadala, which is one of the harbour line stations in Mumbai. How to reach there : By Train : 1. Get down at Wadala station, get on the bridge, you will find a share taxi to the college. 2. Get Down at Dadar (if don't want to take harbour trains) If you are 4 people you can take a taxi for Sangam Nagar, which will cost around Rs.60/70 from Dadar station east. If you are alone, you can take bus number 110 from Vir Kotwal Udyan in Dadar west for ...

It is the worst college. You will always get fail in the internals and all the teachers in this college are from the same college who have done their ME from VIT. So, all teachers are student please don't come here and spoil your life. There are no hangouts place in or around the college and college is fully surrounded by slum area. Only infrastructure of the college is good nothing best part of this college.

Location - Located at Wadala. By walk, it takes 20 minutes to reach the college, else you can come with shared taxis which are available near the station. Education - good college with a good faculty. No need to join extra classes as all subjects are covered in college. College provides some printed notes with last year’s papers which is helpful. College has a very good library where students can read peacefully and can do their work. Placement - Good companies comes to the college, but still, I...

Well, to be very frank this is a college having a cutoff just a tad above average and so is crowd you'll find here, just average. Don't expect to find the 'cream' crowd here. But I guess that's the same case in most of the colleges in Mumbai excluding a few prestigious ones. One of the minuses of this college is its location. It is located in Sangam Nagar, a slum like locality. But then, once you enter beyond that gate the worlds change completely. The infrastructure of this college is among ...

Good infrastructure with satisfying placements.

Placements: The placements were not good for our seniors, but now they are better for us due to the new placement dean. The companies coming to the campus are pretty good. Companies like Amul, PNB Paribas, ITC, etc. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, for the seniors. Almost 50% of students have got a summer internship to date.
