B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2021

I'm dissatisfied with our college due to teachers and the availability of placement training.
Placements: Our college is not good for placements. They only attract students to take admission in this college. They say that many companies visited to hire students for jobs, but it is not true. Companies visited here, but they hire some students. I am not satisfied with our college regarding placements and training.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, but still, it needs maintenance. However, our college director does not take any action to maintain college infrastructure. Lab equipment is not in working condition. Wi-Fi is available only for the name, but it did not work. The library is good with many books, and it is well-maintained. Classrooms are very good, but the air-conditioners are not working.
Faculty: Our college is just for the name. Only limited faculty members are available here. Only one faculty member can teach many subjects. They don't have any good knowledge of the subject, but they teach. Many faculty members are not well-knowledgeable. Many students who passed out of this college started teaching in this college as assistant professors.

Review of World Institute of Technology.
Placements: After 2014, there is no placement record in any branch of B.Tech. I was in this college from 2014 to 2018 in the mechanical engineering branch, and there were no placements in those years. Before 2014, some reputed companies visited the college and recruited some students.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls. The hostel infrastructure is good. Labs are good for mechanical engineering, civil, and computer science. Canteen and the mess are not that good. There is a field for playing games like cricket, badminton, football and volleyball.
Faculty: Some teachers here are good, well qualified, and experienced. But the lectures are only related to the curriculum. Students are not ready for industry because the industry wants industrial knowledge to work in the industry. But the college teaches according to the curriculum, which is different.
Other: I have chosen B.Tech in mechanical engineering for job purpose. But when I completed this course, I found that there is no job in this field because many students are available in this course, and companies want experienced and trained personnel. The college is going to fail because they are not making students as relevant to company requirements.

I'm studying here for the last three years. My experience with this college is very bad.
Placements: I completed my diploma from this college. During our admission, they said that there are 100% placements, but the fact is that none of the students got placed through the college placements. Now, I took admission in this college in B.Tech civil engineering. This time, I hope they succeed in providing placements to students in good companies.
Infrastructure: Mechanical engineering labs and computer science engineering labs in the college are good, but the condition of civil engineering labs is very bad. No one cleans these labs, and the equipment in the labs is bad. The hostel is also bad as shared by my classmates. Classrooms are good but not very well. There are no sports facilities. My college won't share Wi-Fi password with students.
Faculty: My college director Mr CB Prasad has the highest qualification, and that is PhD. All the teachers completed M.Tech in their fields. My college offers very low payment for good teachers, so they left their job. Time to time, teachers are changing, so students can't study properly. My favourite teacher in this college is MR Aroosa Gulzar in civil branch.
Other: My college is good. It is not very large but at least good as per the fee we pay. The campus crowd is very low because the students are not interested in taking admission as there are no placements in this college.

The college was good till 2016, but there is nothing good after that.
Placements: The college is not providing any placement opportunities from a few years. In the initial years of the college, a few good companies visited the campus for placements but now, not even a single company is visiting the campus for placements. So the college is not good regarding placements. The college has a training and placement cell, but the staff members in the placement cell are not working efficiently.
Infrastructure: The building and infrastructure are good for academic purposes. The hostel is good, and the entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. Labs are also good for some branches like CSE, ECE, mechanical and civil. The library is good for the students to study. Classrooms are good. Games and sports facilities are available for the students who are interested in sports.
Faculty: Faculty and staff members are very good. They are qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. The faculty to student ratio is good. After 2017, many good faculty members and staff members left the college.
Other: Last time, the college fest was organised in 2016. Scholarships are offered for students belonging to SC/ST categories in Haryana. Students can get the scholarships offered by the other states as per the government rule.

Our college is not a good choice for someone who really wants to study.
Placements: There are only 10% of placements in our college and that too if you are ready to work for any package. Not only this college but every college affiliated to MDU has the same story. Overall, if you want only a degree to do masters, then this is the best college for you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is far better than other colleges in this area. We have a CNC machine in the workshop for mechanical engineers. We have different buildings for different branches and a big ground for football and cricket.
Faculty: A student must not rely on faculty much, because they are there to pass the whole day and go home which is in a village near the campus. They pretend to be very educated whereas they are like illiterates (except a few). Most of the staff are working here just to get a salary at the end of the month.
Other: There are no events in our college, but you can organise one on your own.

The value for money is not appropriate.
Placements: There is no placement cell in the college. After completion of B.Tech, some of my friends are still looking for a job even after paying some amount to placement agencies and brokers, still, they are fighting against unemployment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite well, and there are more than four buildings on the campus, but the renovation and service of education and technology is too cheap. Of course, the services like A/C, lights and fans were okay, but not in good condition.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have the background of graduation and post graduation. The college offers the tech courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, Polytechnic, etc. The behaviour of teachers was good during the classes and after the classes. There is a pantry where only samosa and cold drinks are available and nothing else, we even have some celebrations there.
