The college is quite good and it's ranked number one in return of investment.
Placements: In my course, which is B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, around 60% of students who were qualifying the benchmark of required CGPA were placed. And the highest packages were around 12 LPA. The average was 5 LPA, and the least package was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our courses are TCS and Infosys. Since no official data is available for internships, as far as I know, many students got internships. There are several roles offered to the students of my course, including senior engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a wide range of facilities, like Wi-Fi, the smart classes, and of course the great library Maulana Azad. Books are available at any time. The infrastructure—we cannot compare it with IITs, but it's above average. New facilities are incorporated in the classrooms, like the smart board and the projectors. Talking about hostels, I like heaven; greenery is everywhere; lots of space is available to play football and cricket; and many indoor games are also incorporated in the common room of the hostel. The staff are very cooperative, and general services like electricians and plumbers are always available on our one call. There is enough space in the room, and the quality of the food is quite good. They provide free meals per day at a quite minimal price, and the university students are provided a free medical checkup and dedication by the university. There is a large hospital called Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, where our checkups are free, and we can get free medicine from the university health center.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful. They are well qualified and quite knowledgeable. They make us so comfortable that we can ask any doubt anywhere. Either in the chamber or in the classroom. They also encourage us to ask doubts everywhere we can spot them. Since the curriculum is old, we do not find it relevant as per today's need. But the teachers also encourage us to get involved in many online courses to upskill our knowledge and skills. Of course, the curriculum is not industry-ready. But yes, many improvements are implemented every day. And I hope in a few years the syllabus could be industry-relevant. The semester exams in our colleges are difficult for those who do not study obviously. But unique questions are made by the professors. They are quite challenging and thought-provoking. But yes, one who has done classes does not find them difficult. But with little effort, they can crack the questions. The pass percentage is around 70%.

Low fees and awesome facilities.
Placements: Not too many companies come here, but mass hiring companies like cognizant, HCL, and TCS come here for placements. In 2023, 307/380 students got placed and the median package was around 5-6 LPA ( you can consider it average). The highest domestic package offered was 23 LPA. Students of ECE, Mechanical, and Civil are placed here the most.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent here. The university is spread wide in Aligarh, with almost every facility like labs, schools, classrooms, libraries, hostels, etc. They have dedicated sports facilities for almost all popular sports (definitely the best in the country). Food quality is good and also it is cheap here. Also, there is AMU medical college nearby the ZHCET (our college), which gives an extra edge to the college.
Faculty: Teachers are well trained, well qualified and well educated. Most of the teachers have done Masters or Ph.D.s in their own respective fields from AMU or recognized IITs and IIMs. The teachers educated and informed us with the current technologies and trends in the industries and I can say that students are becoming industry-ready. Semester exams come under the difficult range of moderate-hard. You'll have to work really hard to score 25/25 or 60/60 and get the full 15 marks as internal marks.
Other: ? It is really good for those who couldn't do well in JEE. It can easily be your backup college after IITs or top NITs. The best thing about this course is ROI. You literally can complete your B.Tech in just less than 1 lac rupees of all four years combined. The college has different student clubs for different genres. So if you're interested in any particular genre, they have your back. Also, the connectivity of buildings is pretty good.

okayish infrastructure and placements but good value for money.
Placements: The placements of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology are okayishh types. Mostly students tend to seek off campus jobs as they get a better opportunity there than the one they get in college. Companies also recruit some top students at a very good package from the college only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology is okayish. It is not that good but there is greenery everywhere so you don't feel suffocated. The buildings are kind of old but the classrooms labs and libraries are built nicely.
Faculty: Faculty of Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology is nice. Some teachers are very nice and teach and explain very well. Some are not able to convey their message that nicely otherwise curriculums and pattern of examinations are good. Difficulty level is also medium.

A really good college if you want to study at a good place with such an affordable cost.
Placements: My senior batch got 67% placements and the highest package was 40 LPA, whereas the lowest was 5 LPA. Companies like Siemens, Bajaj Electrical Ltd, and many more. Around 72% of students got placed, excluding students who are interested in M.Tech. Software engineer is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: I have my allotment in Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall and it's pretty clean, though sometimes cleaning staff forget to clean the corridors, but it is often clean. We got a library and reading rooms for each hall. A good and decent meal is provided every day. Top-notch medical facilities. They provide us with a common room for indoor games, and equipment for outdoor games and many more.
Faculty: I don't think that there is any problem with the faculty and exams held. Though there are a few faculty members who don't do their jobs well. But overall, it's perfect. Exams are not so tough or not so easy; it basically depends on how a student attends the class.
Other: A lot of scholarships are provided by alumni.

A college which is value for money with a good environment.
Placements: The placements for the ECE branch at the college are in numbers but the average package is between 6-7 lakhs per annum, with the highest being around 15 lakhs. Most of the ECE students get placed in the IT companies and some crack internships as well.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided in labs and classrooms are above par and actually are really good if you see the cost factor with it. The Wi-Fi is continuously available 24X7 and there are proper facilities in the library as well. The accommodation in the hostel is very cheap (2k for a year) and good as well, with natural greenery and proper courts for games. The mess is a little on the downside, with food being a bit oily and repetitive. Medical facilities are totally free for students and there is proper treatment given.
Faculty: Professors and assistant professors are very knowledgeable and always helpful; we can ask doubts from them any time and they reply with the same energy. The teaching is really good, with proper explanation through slides and practical. The curriculum is designed in a very constructive manner and helps to develop many skills over time. A bit of a downside is that all the basic concepts of every engineering field are taught, which is irrelevant for students who don't belong to that field. The semester is hectic because exams are held every month, which is the downside of the structure of the semester in the college. The pass percentage is around 35% in each subject, which seems like a good amount.
Other: ZHCET is a college that is very cheap and provides education almost equivalent to NITs and fee IITs. The ECE department is one of the best in the college, with the faculty being highly qualified. We have multiple opportunities throughout the degree.
