Absolutely satisfied because of the campus, the faculty members, the facilities it provides.
Placements: The placement of Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, AMU, is good enough for a fresher to start his/her career, as well as it doesn't match with the reputation of the college. Last test, about 70% of students got placement. But the college has an active placement cell, which is constantly working to overcome the issue.
Infrastructure: The college provides wi-fi classrooms and labs. It has wonderful library facilities. It also has a book bank facility that provides academic books at the cost of just 15% of the price of the book. In my course, there is a lab called the Communication Skills Lab in which we're trained to grab new era technologies and skills.
Faculty: All the teachers are kind in nature and highly qualified in their respective fields from highly reputed institutions of the nation. They ensure that every student gets the study material on time. They have also taken a shift regarding their curriculum according to industry needs.

Good place to achieve your dream.
Placements: Around 12 percent of people get enrolled in this program, with 60 seats in electrical engineering out of a total of 500 seats. The highest package is around 12 LPA for electrical engineering students, the average is around 7 LPA, and the lowest is around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are two halls for engineering students (Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall and Nadeem Tarin). There are very good facilities for students. They can play games in the common room or in the ground. For study, there is a reading room. Yes, it is a very good place for students.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful here and well-qualified. Most of the faculty members here are from prestigious colleges like IIT and NIT. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that much difficult; they are moderate in level.

A comprehensive review of my college.
Placements: Placements are dependent on the branch, with the CS students' placement ratio being higher than that of ECE and so on. Students get placed both off-campus and on-campus, with the majority securing placements on campus. AMU has a Training and Placement Officer (TPO) to facilitate good package placements for students. Some of the recruiters include L&T, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Approximately 70% of students get placed, with an average salary of 4.5 LPA, a median of 5.5 LPA, and the highest being 27 LPA off-campus and 21 LPA on-campus, offered to around 10 or more students. Many students secure internships through the assistance of professors and the TPO, primarily in cities like Bangalore and Delhi.
Infrastructure: AMU has decent infrastructure, with all labs in good working condition. Students perform experiments after being taught by lab assistants. Free Wi-Fi is available for all enrolled students, and classrooms are equipped with both projectors and whiteboards. Hostels are mostly four-seaters in the first year and are quite spacious. However, the quality of mess food is not too good. AMU provides most sports facilities.
Faculty: In the first year, most professors teaching students are assistant or associate professors, all of whom hold PhDs and are proficient in their work, except for a few who merely project PDFs in class. While the teaching may prepare us for exams, I am uncertain about its readiness for the industry. A passing grade requires 35 marks in theory and 45 in labs. Exam questions are moderate and conducted punctually.
Other: I was unable to secure a decent branch in NIT, and since AMU is also a government institution with very low fees, I opted to enroll here. Additionally, as a university offering various fields of study, I can gain diverse experiences here. AMU conducts its own entrance exam for admission to the B.Tech program.

Really excellent teaching and infrastructure.
Placements: AMU B.Tech. teaches electrical engineering. Generally, placement stands at 70–80%. The highest package is around 10–12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6-7 LPA. The top recruiters are ABB, Reliance power, Havells, etc. Top roles can vary from electrical engineer to project manager and design engineer in sectors like power generation.
Infrastructure: The course facilities were of high quality, providing a reliable Wi-Fi connection and a plethora of resources within the library. The hostel facilities were satisfactory, with only occasional maintenance issues. The mess and canteen provided food that met basic standards. Medical services are easily accessible.
Faculty: The teachers are absolutely amazing. They are so supportive, knowledgeable and really helped with excellent teaching quality. The curriculum is extremely relevant and ensures we are industry-ready. Let me tell you, the exams are no joke. The pass percentage is good, though.

Superb experience at AMU .
Placements: 2022 batch B.Tech in electrical engineering placement rate is 70%; the highest package offered is INR 15 LPA; the lowest is INR 5 LPA; and the average is INR 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Tata Power, Siemens, and BHEL. 40% got internships at companies like GE and ABB. Roles offered are Electrical Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Manager, etc.
Infrastructure: I am a local of the city of Aligarh, so I have not allotted any halls for AMU, but what I have heard from students and friends is that the hostel quality needs improvement. The same goes with the food canteens I have visited. The course facilities are good, too. High-speed Wi-Fi and a library are available for students. The classrooms are good. The medical facility is free at JNMC. Sports and game options are plentiful.
Faculty: The teachers in ZHCET are very knowledgeable and qualified; they are very helpful, and they even help outside of class times. They also provide important notes that help with semester exams. The course curriculum is the latest and helps with getting placements. The semester exams are tough, and the pass percentage is very good, which reflects good teaching quality and students efforts.
