To be included in the merit list, the candidate must qualify SEED 2024 exam, appear in the PRSI Round, and upload their Portfolio.

Candidates had to upload Portfolio and PRPI tasks from March 28, 2024. The Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) round was held in two rounds.

Candidates who are included in the merit list are eligible for admission to the B.Desprogrammeoffered by participating colleges. To confirm their seats, merit list candidates will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee within the given deadline.
Q: When can I book slots for the SEED 2024 Personal Interaction?
Candidates who are shortlisted for the PRPI will have to book their slots. Note that slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. So, the candidate must book their slots as soon as the slot booking window opens.
To book their slots, the candidate will have to go to the SID admission portal - sid.edu.in. In the lgo-in window that opens, enter your SID log-in ID and password. On login, you can book yout slot.

Q: Will I be asked to draw or sketch some article during the SEED 2025 personal interaction round?
Yes, there is a possibility that one can be asked to. The candidate must have basic stationery including pen, paper, and pencils available during their PI session. The personal interaction round of SEED 2025 will be conducted online. Candidates who are shortlisted for personal interaction will have to book their slots within the given window. Note that slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The final merit list of SID will be prepared based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task and Personal Interaction.
Q: Where should I upload the SEED 2025 Portfolio?
The portfolio upload link will be made available on the official website after the Personal Interaction slot is booked by the candidate. The specific dates will be notified by the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). In the last edition of the SEED entrance exam, the portfolio submission window was open from April 11-19, 2023. Note that along with the portfolio, the candidate will also be required to upload the portfolio task assigned to them.
The digital portfolio should represent the best work of the candidate and showcase one’s skills, passions and interest in a variety of areas and techniques. The portfolio size should be not more that 5 MB.
Q: Is there any reservation of seats for SEED 2025?
The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) has a combined intake of 207 seats for its B.Des program. This includes 180 seats for Indian, and 27 seats for international students. There is also category-wise reservation of seats - SC, ST, and Definitely abled.

Q: When will the SEED 2025 written exam be conducted?
The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the SEED 2025 written exam on January 12, 2025. The exam will be of 1 hour duration (to be conducted between 10 am to 4 pm).
The exam slot allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card.
On exam day, the candidate has to be ready an hour so before the exam to ensure all pre-exam formalites are comleted on time. The SEED exam will be being conducted in an online proctored mode.
Q: When do I need to pay the fee to confirm my SEED 2025 seat?
The 1st seat allotment cum merit list of SEED 2025 (B.Des) will be declared on April 21, 2025. Candidates who are allocated seats will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee on or before May 2, 2025. The fee payment schedule has been released by the Symbiosis Institute of Design on its admission portal - sid.edu.in.
If the candidate fails to make the payment within the given deadline, the allotted seat will be canceled and will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit. Also, along with the payment of the fees, the candidate will also have to register for the allotted program.

SEED Notifications
The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the SEED 2025 written exam on January 12, 2025. The exam will be administered in an online, remote-proctored mode. The detailed admission notification for the exam has been released at the SID admission portal.
SID will also conduct mock tests for candidates to understand the online examination process. The mocks will be conducted from January 9-10, 2025. Candidates who qualify in the written exam or SEED will next have to appear in a PRPI round.
