NIFT Admit Card 2025: Intimation Slip (OUT Soon), Download Link, Exam Center Reporting Time, Fixing Discrepancy

This is what the city intimation slip of NIFT 2025 exam will look like (Note: Both the NIFT and JEE Main exams are currently conducted by the National Testing Agency).

To download the NIFT 2025 city intimation slip, follow these steps:

1. Go to the NTA NIFT admission portal - https://exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/
2. Click on the city intimation slip link
3. In the log-n window that opens, enter your application number and date of birth
4. Enter the security pin
5. Submit the details
6. On successful log-in, you can download the intimation SLIP

There is a chance that after downloading the admit card for NIFT 2025, the candidate may notice some discrepancies. If you notice any discreapancy, for instance your name may be incorrectly spelled, don't panic. 

NTA has clear instructions for candidates on how to fix the problem.

How to Fix Discrepancies in NIFT 2024 Admit Card

To fix any of the above or similar discrepancies in the NIFT admit card 2024, follow these steps:

• Keep your application number ready
• Call the NIFT NTA helpline number from 9.30 am - 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday). You also may email the helpdesk.
• When writing the mail, don’t forget to mention your application number while explaining your issue in clear, logical terms.
• The NTA helpdesk will verify your details and take the required corrective measures.
• NTA will not issue any fresh admit cards; so, you may have to appear in the exam with the same admit card.
• You will have to carry the necessary ID proof and a clear passport-size photograph to the NIFT exam center.
• Correction, if any, in the admit card will be addressed by the officials after the conduct of the exam.

The following items are allowed (required) inside the NIFT 2025 exam center.

• A personal transparent water bottle
• A simple transparent ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser, and ruler. The items must be carried in a transparent pouch. 
• A-4 Transparent Acrylic board
• Printout of the NIFT 2025 admit card taken on A4-sized paper and duly filled in.
• TWO additional photographs: Don’t forget to bring TWO extra photographs to be attached to the attendance sheet.
• Original photo ID proof

Additional stationery allowed for CAT candidates

Candidates appearing in the Creative Ability Test (CAT) are also allowed to carry coloring (only Dry colors are allowed) and drawing materials.

On NIFT exam day, you need to follow these guidelines: 

• Document checklist - The candidate has to carry their NIFT 2025 admit card and a valid photo ID proof. Don't forget to attach a passport-size photograph on the admit card.
• Left-hand thumb impression must be put in the designated space on the admit card.
• Reporting time - Report at the NIFT exam center at least half an hour before the commencement of the exam.
• Items to carry - Carry your own stationery items that will be needed for the written test. 
• Photograph: Also, carry two additional photographs (same as the one uploaded on the online application form). The photographs have to be pasted on the admit card.
• Baggage counter - There will be no baggage counter at the NIFT 2025 exam center. Also, the candidate will not be allowed to carry any baggage inside the exam center. So, it is recommended that you only carry the bare essentials.
• Note that the NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted in a center-based mode.
• Blank paper sheets will be provided to the candidate inside the exam hall for calculations and writing work. You need to write your name and roll number at the top of each sheet. After the exam, drop the sheet in the designated DropBox. If you don't drop the sheet in the box, your answer booklet may not be evaluated.  
• You can carry a transparent water bottle to the exam hall. Diabetic students are, additionally, allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like bananas/apples/oranges). But note that packed foods like chocolate, candy, sandwiches, etc., are not allowed.
• STATIONERY: The candidate is allowed to carry a simple transparent ball ballpoint pen, pencils, erasers, and rulers (in a transparent pouch).
• CAT Applicants are allowed to carry coloring and drawing material in a transparent pencil box. Also, physical question booklets with space for responses will be provided to the CAT applicant inside the exam hall. 
• Frisking - Proper frisking will be done at the exam center using a Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD). So, make sure you are not carrying any electronic gadgets or barred items.

List of prohibited items inside NIFT 2025 exam hall

The candidate is NOT allowed to carry instruments, handbag, purse, any kind of paper / textual material (printed or written material), eatables (loose or packed), electronic gadgets (mobile phone, earphone, microphone, pager, calculator, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches, etc), Docu Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, with facilities of calculator, or any metallic item in the examination hall/room. 

Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting, etc. are also strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

Note: Any candidate found in possession of the above-listed items will be disqualified. Further, the candidate may be barred from future examinations conducted by the NTA.

NIFT 2025 exam day - Acceptable ID proofs 

The candidate needs to carry an original and valid photo ID. Photocopies of the ID card will not be accepted:

The list of prohibited items as mentioned in the NIFT information brochure is given below.

The admit card for the NIFT 2025 has to be downloaded following the steps mentioned below.

1. Click on the admit card link
2. Enter the following credentials:
   • application number
   • date of birth
3. On successful login, the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
4. Download and save the NIFT admit card

The 2nd stage of the NIFT 2025 admission process includes the Situation Test/ Personal Interview.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the 2nd stage based on their performance in the NIFT 2024 written exams.

Note that separate admit cards will be released for the NIFT 2025 Situation Test/Personal Interview. The candidate will have to download the admit card using their email ID and password.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducted the Situation Test for NIFT 2025 in April 2025.

Venue for the Situation Test, Mode

The Situation Test will be conducted at various NIFT campuses. The mode of the test will be offline. Shortlisted candidates will have to select the campus of their choice within the given window.

The allotment of campuses will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.

The personal interview will be conducted online via Zoom link.

The timings of the exams will be mentioned on the NIFT 2025 admit card for the Situation Test/ Personal interview.
