What is AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET)?
AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) has been renamed AP EAPCET, which stands for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test. AP EAMCET is an entrance examination conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
AP EAMCET exam is conducted for admission into undergraduate programmes in engineering, pharmacy and agriculture across different colleges and universities in Andhra Pradesh. AP EAMCET exam is conducted once a year. The exam is conducted to check candidate's knowledge and aptitude in various subjects, including physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. The corrections could be done on the AP EAMCET application form during the correction window. The details on the application form were divided into two categories. The details in Category -1 could be changed only by sending an email to helpdesk. The candidate could change the details in Category -2 during the permitted period.

General Eligibility Criteria for AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2026
Candidates should be Indian Nationals or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).
Candidates must be Andhra Pradesh/Telangana state residents and should meet the local/non-local status requirements by Educational Institutes in Andhra Pradesh under admission regulations.
Academic Eligibility Criteria AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2026
Candidates should have passed or appeared in the qualifying examination of intermediate or 10+2 level or any equivalent examination as recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination and must have taken the following subjects in the 10+2 level i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or any of the optional subjects or relevant vocational subjects in the Engineering and Technology stream.
