Seat allotment result for round-1 INI SS 2025 counselling was released on December 31, 2024. The counselling result was uploaded online. Candidates acn download INI SS 2025 round-1 result from the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Those allotted seats in round-1 counselling can report from January 1 to Jnaury 6, 2025. INI SS 2025 counselling dates have been released online by AIIMS. Registration and choice filling for round-1 counselling began on December 26, 2024. Candidates have to register and declare choices for seat allotment. Registration can be done at official website of AIIMS. The last date for round-1 registration and choice filling was December 29, 2024.

The counselling dates and schedule have been released along with the counselling brochure, comprising important details regarding seat allotment process.  A total of 3 rounds of counselling will be held for seat allocation. Earlier on December 12, 2024, two merit list, AML and CML was released. AML or AIIMS merit list for admission at AIIMS and PGIMER and CML or Common Merit List is for admission at other Institutes of National Importance.

Departmental assesment for INI SS 2025 was held from November 12 to November 13, 2024. AIIMS had provided coursewise date for departmental assessment. It must be noted stage-2 departmental assessment exam is valid for admission to AIIMS and PGIMER. Earlier, INI SS 2025 result was announced online on October 30, 2024. The list of qualified candidates for each courses was included in INI SS 2025 result PDF. Candidates will have to download INI SS 2024 result from the official website. INI SS 2025 exam (stage-1) was held in computer-based mode on October 25, 2024. 

INI SS is held in two stages for admission to DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration. Stage-1 is written exam which is valid for all the Institutes of National Importance while stage-2 is valid for admission to AIIMS only. Candidates must qualify stage-1 written test to become eligible for stage-2 which is called departmental assesment. INI SS 2025 departmental assessment will be held through video conferencing for 20 marks.

Q:   What is difference between INI CET and INI SS?

A:

INI CET abbreviated as Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test conducted for admission to MD/MS? MCh courses. INI SS stands for Institute of National Importance Super Speciality Entrance Test (INI SS). INI SS is superspeciality entrance test conducted for DM/MCh and MD hospital administration course. INI CET is for postgraduate level course while INI SS is held for post doctoral courses.

Q:   Can I register offline for INI SS?

A:

No, you cannot register offline for INI SS. The registration process is only available online through the official website, and all applicants are required to apply online before the deadline. Offline applications or any other mode of application will not be accepted. It is essential to carefully review the eligibility criteria and application process before filling out the online application form. The online application fee can be paid through debit/credit cards or net banking. The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid before submission of the online application form.

Q:   Does AIIMS conduct INI SS counselling in offline mode?

A:

No, AIIMS conducts INI SS counseling in online mode. Candidates have to register and declare a choice for college and course to participate in the counseling. It must be noted only candidates who qualify for INI SS can participate in the counseling for seat allotment. A total of 3 rounds of counseling is held for seat allocation. AIIMS releases a separate result PDF for each round of counselling.

Q:   How many rounds of counselling will be held for INI SS seat allotment?

Total 4 rounds of counselling will be held for INI SS seat allotment. All the rounds will be held in online mode. Candidates will have to register on the official website and declare choice for college and subject for seat allotment. It must be noted candidates can declare as many choices as he/she wants. Choices have to be saved and locked in the given deadline otherwise it gets locked automatically.

What is INI SS?

INI SS stands for Institute of National Importance Super Speciality Entrance Test (INI SS). AIIMS conducts the exam for providing admission to Post Doctoral courses, DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration at 11 institutes including 8 AIIMS. The exam is conducted bianually, January and July session. The test paper comprises 80 multiple-choice questions and candidates get 90 minutes to answer them. AIIMS conducts two-stage admission process for admission to DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration. Candidates get admission on the basis of marks scored in both the stages. Stage-2, departmental clinical / practical / lab-based assessment is valid for admission to AIIMS only. 

Q:   Who can apply for INI SS 2025 January session?

A:

Candidates have to fulfill certain eligibility requirements to apply for INI SS 2025 exam. The eligibility criteria vary as per the course.  For DM/MCh course, candidates should have completed MD/MS degree from a recognised university/college. Candidates should have completed MBBS degree for MD in hospital administration.  Age criteria varies for admission at Institutes of National Importance (INI) and AIIMS. For an example, the upper Age limit is 35 years as on January 31, 2025 for AIIMS New Delhi and others. Upper age limit is relaxable for OBC Candidates by a maximum of 3 years at INIs. For MD in hospital administration, candidates should possess minimum experience of three years in a Govt. Hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice.

Q:   How to download INI SS admit card?

A:

AIIMS releases admit card for INI SS in online mode only. Candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below to download the admit card.

  • Visit the official website of AIIMS
  • Click on “Academic Courses” tab
  • Select DM/MCh/MD (HA) course which will lead you to its page
  • Click on the “Registration/Login” link from the menu
  •  Now login with the “Candidate Id”, “Password” and “Captcha”
  •  Click on “Login” button

A:

INI SS stands for Institute of National Importance Super Speciality Entrance Test. INI SS 2025 admit card was released on October 21, 2024. It must be noted AIIMS doesn't send admit card for INI SS 2025 to individual candidate but he/she will have to download it. Candidates will have to login to the official website to download the admit card for INI SS 2025. Candidates are advised to read all details including exam day instructions on the admit card to avoid any last minute hassle. Q:   Does AIIMS send INI SS admit card to individual candidate?

No. AIIMS will not send INI SS 2025 to individual candidate. He/she will have to download admit card for INI SS 2025 from the official website by logging to the account, providing application number and password. The admit card comprises crucial details including name and address of exam centre. If a candidate doesn't receive admit card or finds some discrepancy in details, he/she should immediately contact the Assistant Controller of Examinations, AIIMS, New Delhi through email

INI SS 2025 counselling

INI SS 2025 Counselling will be held by AIIMS in online mode. Candidates included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the INI SS Counselling. Candidates have to register online and exercise choice for colleges and speciality to participate in the counselling round. Registration can be done by logging to MyPage with credentials used to fill application form. A total of 3 rounds will be held for seat allocation for INI SS 2025. After the allocation of seats, candidates will have to choose out of following options to provide their willingness for participation in the further rounds of INI SS 2025 counselling.

Option 1. ACCEPT allotted Institute and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds for INI SS 2025.

Option 2. ACCEPT allotted Institute but want to participate in the next round of counselling.

If candidate choose option 2 then they will have to participate in this round and accept the seat allotted to them in particular institute. The Institute allocated in first round shall be considered vacated and the same shall be automatically allocated to other candidates in order of merit. Failure to join the upgraded Institute shall lead to impositions of penalty of INR 3.00 Lakh. There is no option to reject the seat in counselling round.

Q:   Has AIIMS released INI SS 2025 counselling dates for seat allotment?

A:

Yes. AIIMS has released INI SS 2025 counselling dates online. Registration for round-1 counselling had started on December 16, 2024. Last date for registration cum choice filling for INI SS 2025 counselling round-1 was December 22, 2024 but it was extended till December 29. Candidates have to register online and declare choice for college/course for seat allotment.

Q:   I didn't participated in round-1 INI SS counselling. Can I participate in second round?

A:

No. Participation in round-1 counselling is prerequisite for second round INI SS counselling. However, you can participate in the open/spot round. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course to participate in seat allocation process. Registration can be done on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. INI SS counselling involves steps such as registration, choice filling, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting.

INI SS 2025 Result

AIIMS Delhi released INI SS 2025 result on its official website. The list of provisionally qualified candidates for INI SS 2025 result (stage-1) was uploaded on the official website in PDF format. Two merit lists, a common merit list for all INIs and one for AIIIMs will be released after stage-2 exam. Candidates who qualify for the examination are called for a Departmental Assessment. Candidates have to score 50 percent in stage -1 to become eligible to participate in the second stage, the Departmental Assessment. Departmental assessment will be valid for seat allotment at AIIMS/PGIMER only. To qualify for AIIMS/PGIMER Seat allocation a candidate must obtain 50 percent or more marks in Stage-I & Stage-II combined. In case candidate gets marks more than 50 percent in stage-I but less than 50 percent marks in Stage I & II combined, he/she will not be treated as qualified for AIIMS Seats. 

INI SS 2025 Exam Pattern

INI SS exam is conducted in two stages:

Stage I: Written Exam

The first stage of the entrance test is a written examination. This stage can be considered as a screening examination. The written examination have 80 multiple choice questions of 80 marks. Candidates get 90 minutes to attempt the test paper. As per the marking scheme, candidates get 1 mark for every right answer and deduction of -1/3 mark for wrong answer. 

Stage II: Departmental Assessment

Candidates who qualify in the first stage of the AIIMS INI SS exam are called for a Departmental Assessment. To qualify in the first stage, candidates need to secure at least 50% marks in the examination. Admission to DM/MCh/MD(HA) courses of AIIMS is on the basis of the total marks obtained in stages one and two.

INI SS 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification: To apply for INI SS 2025, a candidate needs to fulfil the eligibility requirements. The first and foremost requirement is the minimum qualification required to apply for a particular course. In the table given below are listed minimum eligibility requirement to be eligible for a particular DM/MCh/MD(HA) course.

Candidates will have to complete the postgraduate medical qualification on or before January 31, 2025. Those who complete the basic qualification after the said date will not be eligible for the January session of INI SS 2025.

INI SS 2025 Registration/Application Form Process

Candidates who wish to apply for the INI SS entrance test have to register on the official website of the institute, aiimsexams.ac.in. Only those candidates who complete the registration process can fill INI SS application form for admission to AIIMS DM/MCh/MD-Hospital Administration courses. Candidates must note that AIIMS accept only online applications for INI SS exam. INI SS application process involves steps such as registration at aiimsexams.ac.in, uploading documents, and paying exam fee. It must be noted candidates have to submit INI SS application form on the official website only.

Candidates have to fill all details and pay the application fee, INR 4000 + transaction charges to submit the application form for the exam. Candidates can choose three options as exam centre out of the list of cities released by AIIMS. Options of exam centres can be chosen while filling the application form for AIIMS DM/MCh/MD(HA) courses.

INI SS 2025 Admit Card

INI SS 2025 admit card was released online on October 21, 2024. AIIMS activated the link on its official website, aiimsexams.ac.in in for candidates who registered successfully for the exam. Candidates have to download the admit card for DM/MCh/MD(HA) courses by logging into their account, using the credentials generated at the time of registration. The admit card contains important details including name and address of the allotted exam centre. Details given on the hall ticket must be cross checked to avoid any discrepancy. Q:   Who are eligible for stage-2 departmental assessment INI SS?

A:

Candidates who seek admission to AIIMS have to appear for stage-2 INI SS.  They have to qualify INI SS stage-1 srtitten exam to appear for departmental assessment exam. AIIMS has not declared INI SS stage-2 exam date yet. Candidates have to score 50% or more marks for stage-2 exam. To qualify for AIIMS Seat allocation a candidate must obtain 50 percent or more marks in Stage-I & Stage-II combined. In case a candidate gets marks more than 50 percent in Stage-I but less than 50 percent marks in Stage I & II combined, he/she will not be treated as qualified for AIIMS Seats.
