Candidates must keep in mind that the announced CSAB 2024 seat allotment result for special rounds will only be announced for the seats left in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs after JoSAA 2024 counselling. CSAB spot rounds are not conducted for the IITs.

• Visit the official site or click on the link above in the article
• On the home page of the official site, click on CSAB Special Round-1 Seat Allotment Results 2024 link
• Now, candidates will be directed to another page
• Enter login details and click on the submit button

Instructions to Candidates Allotted Seats in CSAB 2024 Special Round 1

If you are allotted a Seat in the CSAB 2024 Special Round 1, you must complete the following steps carefully

• Exercise your willingness (FLOAT/ SLIDE/ FREEZE/ SURRENDER/ WITHDRAWAL). If you do not opt for FLOAT/ SLIDE/ FREEZE, your currently allotted seat will get cancelled, including the seat allotted in the JoSAA Rounds (even if you had paid the PAF).
• Should you prefer to REJECT the allotted seat and wish to participate in Special Round-II, you may choose willingness as SURRENDER. In such a case, the seat allotted in JoSAA-2024 or CSAB-2024 Special Round-I will be cancelled. Allotment in Special Round II will be considered from the choices higher than the surrendered seat.
• Should you prefer to REJECT the allotted seat and DO NOT wish to participate in Special Round II, you may choose willingness as WITHDRAW. In such a case, the seat allotted in JoSAA-2024 or CSAB-2024 Special Round-I will be cancelled, and no new allotment will be made in Special Round-II.
• If a seat is allotted in Round I and if the candidate exercises the willingness option FLOAT/ SLIDE/ FREEZE and has uploaded all the required documents, he/she MUST pay the applicable IAF-II fee to confirm the seat. Failure to pay the Institute Admission Fee-II (if applicable) by the deadline will AUTOMATICALLY lead to cancellation of the provisionally allocated seat and the candidate will not be considered for the seat allocation in the Special Round-II.
• Fresh candidates (who did not register for JoSAA Rounds) must upload their documents for ONLINE verification and respond to queries within the stipulated time.
• PwD candidates must choose the reporting centre for verification of PwD status within the stipulated time. However, if the PwD verification in JoSAA rounds is already done, such candidates need not reverify their PwD status except those who opted and got the higher choice seats in institutes having Special Eligibility Restrictions.

• Seat allotment will be conducted as per candidates’ JEE Main ranks (CRL) for special rounds
• Conversion of Allotted Seat Category/Quota will be applicable as per JoSAA/CSAB norms.
• All admitted candidates after the last round (sixth round) of JoSAA 2024 who did not participate in Special Rounds, will also be considered for category up-gradation against the same allotted choice. This means that their earlier allotted seat up to the sixth round will be retained in the same branch and in the same institute but the category may be upgraded.
