Mohamed Sathak Colleges

The Mohamed Sathak Trust was established on October 26, 1973. Various colleges established under the trust provide quality education with academic excellence in the field of engineering & technology, architecture, arts & science, paramedical, and management to meet the industrial and societal needs. At present, the trust is running 17 institutions such as one polytechnic college, one ITI, one Arabic college, one architecture, two engineering colleges, two teachers’ training institutes, three paramedical courses, three arts & science colleges, and three Schools located at Kilakarai, Ramanathapuram and Chennai.

Mohamed Sathak AJ College of Engineering

The Mohamed Sathak AJ College of Engineering (MSAJCE), established in 2001 under the aegis of Mohamed Sathak Trust, is approved by AICTE New Delhi, affiliated to Anna University Chennai and Government of Tamil Nadu. MSAJCE provides quality technical education to meet the industrial and societal needs, by providing skill-based training with the state-of-art facilities. The college offers the following engineering courses to students,

The college offers placements to students in various renowned companies. Mohamed Sathak College of Arts & Science (MSCAS) was established in 1991, by the Mohamed Sathak Trust to provide quality education. The institution is affiliated to the University of Madras and approved by the AICTE. Mohamed Sathak AJ College of Nursing

The Mohamed Sathak Trust started Mohamed Sathak AJ College of Nursing (MSAJCN) at Chennai in 2000 to serve the public and meet this demand. The institution is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwife Council and is affiliated to Dr M G R Medical University. The students are enrolled as members of Students Nurses Association of India and as members of Youth Red Cross. The institute offers following courses to students.

Mohamed Sathak A J College of Physiotherapy

Mohamed Sathak A J College of Physiotherapy at Chennai was started in 2002. The college is recognised by the Government of Tamilnadu and affiliated to Dr MGR Medical University. The college offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree course with an additional six months of compulsory full time internship in either Government or Private hospitals. The college also offers 2-year Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) course.

Mohamed Sathak Teacher Training College

The Government of Tamil Nadu accepted the proposal of the Mohamed Sathak Teacher Training College (MSTTC) under the self-financing scheme, the NCTE accorded the recognition for the BEd course with an intake of 100 students from the academic year 2005-2006 and the University of Madras granted the affiliation for the same.

Mohamed Sathak Engineering College

Mohamed Sathak Engineering College (MSEC) was started by the trust in 1984 as the first self-finance engineering college in Tamil Nadu. The institute was started with three programmes and now it offers 10 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate programmes. All programmes are approved by the AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The Marine Engineering programme is approved by the Director-General of Shipping (DGS) and Architecture programme is approved by Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi.
