NIFFT - hub of core sector.
Placements: Placement here is approximately 100% and are very satisfying for the students. Students opting B.Tech get placement around 10 LPA. Mainly core companies like JSW, Vedanta and TATA metallic etc. visit the campus and offers average package of around 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well-equipped with modern facilities and rooms are well furnished with best drinking water facilities. No doubt campus is not so big enough but have enough facility. Hostels have wi-fi facilities throughout the day. Basically occupancy is around 2 to 3 in girls hostel. Hostel has its common room with facilities of indoor games like carrom and a big led TV on walls.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and are graduated from top IITs and NITs. They have very good ideas on topics. College curriculum of semesters is managed by JUT but our college has its own curriculum. Exams are not so easy to pass if you don't study the whole semester.
Other: We have our technical cum cultural fest JINKS and PRANAV which are annual fests celebrated in the month of either February or March.

It is an excellent engineering college in Ranchi, having INI status.
Placements: In our college, almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the average salary package offered is 9.5 LPA. Around 15 students are placed at Vedanta. The salary package offered is 15 LPA. Around 12 students are placed at Maruti Suzuki. The salary package offered is 10.34 LPA. Almost 15 students are placed at JSW. The salary package offered is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are four hostels. First-year students get Nirala Chatrawas, second-year students get Homi J, third-year students get M Visvesvaraya Chatrawas, and final-year students get JC Bose Chatrawas. Kalpana Chawla Chatrawas is a girls' hostel. A cafeteria is available. Mess facilities are available. The hostel is well-equipped. Wi-Fi is available. There are hot water geysers, electricity, and many more facilities.
Faculty: Our teachers are excellent and helpful. They are well-qualified. They clear our doubts. They take some extra classes to ensure students understand the basics and can solve problems.
Other: NIAMT (formerly NIFFT) previously had only two engineering branches and QDC in two branches with M. Tech. and Ph.D. In 2022, two more branches were added, such as computer engineering and production and industrial engineering. Each year, the college fest 'Jinks Pranav" is organised by the college seniors, with the help of the administration and students.

It has good placements with less fees.
Placements: It has 95% placement every year. Some go for higher studies. The average salary package is 6 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA. About 50 companies visit the campus every year, including top companies like Vedanta, JSW, Tata Metallic, Hero Autocomp, and Tata. Placements start in the seventh semester.
Infrastructure: It has good infrastructure, new classrooms, a new computer lab, and a new lecture hall building that is ready for service this year. The campus is very beautiful in terms of cleanliness. The whole campus is green. It is one of the oldest institutes.
Faculty: Exams are completed on time, but there is little pressure from the curriculum. Papers are moderate.
Other: The location is very near to the airport and the JSCA stadium. We have the tech fest, formerly known as Nifft, and the cultural fest.

I am absolutely satisfied because the placements are too good.
Placements: About 90% of students will get placed because this is equivalent to an NIT college and one of the oldest colleges in Jharkhand. Companies that come to us will increase their salary packages. For example, if KPMG offers a salary package of around 5 LPA in other colleges but it is 9 LPA in our college. So, this is the only difference. If the students are good enough to even apply for an internship, then they will definitely get placed in companies like India Limited and Federal Mougul Powertrain. It depends on the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Everything is perfectly fine. It can be compared to the NIT College. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is also very good, with no restrictions and all present, no parents calling before going anywhere. You can even cook in the mess and prepare your own food if you need a meal that you have to have, else the money will be minus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are all Ph.D. holders or qualified by government colleges, and they are very knowledgeable in their domain. The course curriculum is relevant. If you want to get placed in a core domain, it will make you industry-ready if you have done two or three industries side by side. You can pass the exam by preparing it the night before.
Other: I didn't choose this because, in this, you'll go through JEE Mains and I locked that at the moment with manufacturing as a branch in the second round. Doing internships on the side will definitely be good for improving your CV. Everything is very good.

NIFFT have a green environment all over the campus with good infrastructure.
Placements: NIFFT is well known for its placement. Almost all of the students get placed in different companies. NIFFT offers courses in Material and metallurgical engineering, and Manufacturing engineering. Average package=4.5 LPA, the highest package=8 LPA, Minimum package=3.5 LPA. Top recruiters from NIFFT are Tata Motors, L&T, Vedanta, FIITJEE, career point and many more best companies. 90-95% of the students got internship from manufacturing engineering in companies like HEC, SAIL, Tata motors and many more.
Infrastructure: All hostels in NIFFT have Wi-Fi facilities, canteen facilities, sports facilities and medical facilities. The food provided by the mess to the students is also good. In NIFFT there is one separate ground for cricket, volleyball, basketball and football. NIFFT library also has a number of books and world-class infrastructure.
Faculty: In NIFFT teachers are very helpful for the students. All the teachers of NIFFT are from IISc, IITs, and top NITs. Manufacturing engineering is one of the unique branches in the B.Tech courses, in manufacturing branch we study all about mechanical engineering and production engineering.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it combined the study of manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering and production engineering.
