Just satisfied but not up to the mark if you are seeking for a competitive world.
Placements: We would coordinate with NIT Mizoram for the placement cell. Two students from my senior batch were placed at Wipro. From my batch one student was placed at Wipro for a package of 3.3 Lacs for the role of Software Developer. Apart from Wipro, no other MNCs has visited the place. Apart from MNCs, Indian Army and Indian Navy had shown up as well for the recruitment at our place. In Mizoram University, as the department was newly placed, not much regarding placement was to be seen. Regarding internship, one of the senior applied at IIT Bombay and got it. Don't have idea how much he would have got as stipend. Recently a placement cell has been formed but lack to see active participation from Faculty on this although students try hard for it due to the fact that the money is not being provided to the faculty for such placement activities.
Infrastructure: As newly placed, there are labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games available for students. But not that good labs as compared to those typical Engineering colleges would have and classrooms as well. Food of the canteen is satisfying but cost is high. Hostel rooms are good but the materials used are of low quality. I was just satisfied with the infrastructure. Just satisfied. Not more than that.
Faculty: Faculty members are good enough, qualified and knowledgeable. They have good knowledge but due to lack of industrial exposure, we were't able to get the required working knowledge that a company would expect from us. Final year project would mean focusing only on M.Tech kind of projects but not relating to industrial type.
Other: Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Scholarship, Extracurricular Activities are satisfying things that our University are fulfilling.

Dissatisfied with the quality of infrastructure we get. The placement program is the worst.
Placements: The placements in Mizoram University are bad. The different companies visit if NIT Mizoram chooses to merge. During my 3½ years, only 2-3 students got placed in the different companies. The placement cell heads don't work good, and it is because of them the placements are poor at Mizoram University.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is bad. The Wi-Fi connections are available, but there is no internet access. The labs are equipped with the latest technology. The classrooms are good. The quality of food available in the canteen is not up to the mark and worthy. The hostels on the campus are good. There is the issue with the Wi-Fi in the hostel. The roads are among the most dangerous way in Mizoram.
Faculty: The faculty members are the best, helpful, and highly qualified, but they cannot make the students understand. The syllabus of our course is outdated. There is no industry exposure. The faculty don't interact with the students. As they were strict, the students find the difficulty in interacting with them.

Good infrastructure and facilities
Placements: No campus placement is available here. Last year, we approached some companies but they are not interested in coming here as the college is situated on one side of the country and it is too difficult to come here. In 2016, some PSUs came for placements. 3 students of electrical engineering got selected but after that, till now there is no further placement.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good and classrooms are fully digital. There is a digital library and the health center provides all the medical needs. Hostel and university sports are there. The laboratory infrastructure is very nice and lots of devices are available here with the most experienced teachers. There is a big problem for food as shops are not available near the hostel and the department. No infrastructure issues while I was in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are not so helpful, but knowledgeable and qualified faculty members are here. There are 5 departments in the college viz. electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, civil engineering and computer engineering. There are well-qualified teachers and the number of students is 30 in each batch.

I recommend students to take admission to this college.
Placements: Around 17% of students got placed in our course. Top recruiting company was Power Grid. Around 20% to 30% of students got internships. Top role offered in our course was a junior assistant engineer of the power grid.
Infrastructure: All the facilities available in our college were good. Labs were available in our college. Wi-Fi was provided in the hostel. The quality of food served in the lunch and dinner was good. Students can play football, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good, friendly, and helpful during exams.
Other: I chose this course because I liked to play with electronic devices and I enjoyed this course. Everything was good.
