LPU Admissions 2025 Update: Important Information

Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is conducted by Lovely Professional University (LPU) every year. It is a university-level examination that is held once a year for the admission of candidates to various courses available at the university. Some of the major courses offered by Lovely Professional University include Engineering, Law, Agriculture, Design, Hotel Management and MBA.

The university conducts LPUNEST online for each of these courses separately. This test will have a twofold advantage as it will act as the Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The application form for LPUNEST 2025 for different phase exams released in online mode. After applying for the exam, candidates are required to book slots as only after it admit cards will be issued by the conducting body. The conducting body will send the link to download the LPUNEST 2025 admit card to the candidates’ registered email ID.

Candidates will only be allowed to participate in the LPUNEST 2025 counselling process only on scoring marks equal to or more than the cutoff marks candidates will be admitted to specific courses on the basis of their ranks, course preference and availability of seats.

Test Centre-Based Exam

Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST exam from home

• The declaration date of offline exam results may vary from the above schedule. Candidates will receive their test results directly within their portal.
• Applicants are strongly advised not to wait for the last dates as mentioned above and apply for the LPUNEST and Interview at the earliest to avoid last month rush.
• This is the tentative schedule; any of the date(s) and other details as mentioned above is subject to change at the discretion of the University.
• No separate intimation or announcement to any applicant(s) will be given.
• Subsequent Phases of admission will be conducted if seats remain vacant.

For admission to BTech Programmes at Lovely Professional University, candidates need to fulfil the following Eligibility Criteria.

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST (MBA)
• Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (MBA) should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2025, in final examination of Graduation from University Grants Commission (UGC) recognized University, Institution, college etc.

For MBA, MBA (Hons.), MBA (Financial Markets), MBA (Supply Chain & Logistics), MBA (International Business), MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management), MBA (Tourism & Hospitality) and MBA (With International Exposure)

Pass with 55%* aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, and Interview OR Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).

For MBA (Business Analytics)

Pass with 55%* aggregate marks in B.E. or B.Tech. (any discipline) or B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) or B.Sc. (Maths) or B.A. (Economics or Math or Statistics) or Pass in B.Com or B.Com (Hons.) or BBA or BCA or equivalent and Interview OR Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).

LPUNEST 2025 Application Process

The eligible candidates can fill the application form in online mode. To submit the application form of LPU NEST 2025 in online mode, candidates should visit admissions.lpu.in to complete the application process. On the other hand, candidates who want to apply offline need to reach to the University campus and collect the LPUNEST kit by paying the requisite fee.

What to Carry on Exam Day?

Though LPUNEST exam is held online, candidates are advised to carry a pencil and a sheet of paper for rough work. Besides knowing the things that should be carried inside the exam hall, it is also important to know what must not be carried to the test centre. Candidates are not allowed to carry any text material, log table, calculator, electronic watches mobile phones etc. to the exam centre. 

Documents Required for LPUNEST exam

1.     A printout of LPUNEST admit card 
2.     The original, as well as a scanned copy of the identity proof
3.     A scanned copy of the LPU NEST application form

Note: The test centres for LPU NEST are operational on all the days except Public Holidays and weekly-offs. However, in a few above mentioned cities, the test centre are operational on specific days of the month only.
