SRMS EET 2023: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

Shri Ram Murti Smarak Engineering Institutions conducts SRMS Engineering Entrance Test (SRMS EET) for admission to BTech programmes under the management quota. Admissions to 85% BTech seats are filled on the basis of the merit acquired in JEE Main and as per the State Government directives via online counselling. The rest 15% of the seats including the vacant and lapsed ones are filled through SRMS EET.

SRMS EET 2023 Application Process

Candidates applying for SRMS EET can fill-up the form both online and offline. The procedure for both methods is given below:

Online Mode

Students need to follow the steps mentioned below to fill out the online application form:

• Visit the official SRMS EET 2023 website.
• Check for the “SRMS EET 2023 Application Form” link.
• Enter all required details such as personal, contact and educational.
• Upload a scanned copy of a recent coloured passport-size photograph in .jpg/.jpeg/.png format and a scanned image of your signature.
• The final step is to pay the application fee online using a credit/debit card or net banking facility.
• Candidates are advised to take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it for future reference.

Offline Mode

Candidates can download the application form through the “Offline Registration” link provided for SRMS EET 2023 on www.srms.ac.in. They have to send the duly filled SRMS EET 2023 Application Form along with the requisite documents and a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (in favour of “SRMS TRUST”, payable at “Bareilly”. SRMS EET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

For admission to SRMS Engineering Institutions, there are some guidelines that every candidate must fulfill for admission to a course. SRM EET 2023 eligibility criteria as notified by the exam conducting body are as follows:

• Applicants have to either complete or be appearing for any one of the following Class 12 or equivalent exams before the admission process ends:
• 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board
• 10+2 exam conducted by the Central Board of Higher Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi)
• 10+2 exam conducted by The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC, New Delhi)
• Any recognized board of education

Other Eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have a valid rank in JEE Main.
• Admission under management quota will be done through SRMS EET 2023 for which candidates must have secured 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at Class 12 or equivalent level.

SRMS EET 2023 Admission Process

Aspirants can check the steps for SRMS EET admissions below:

Step-1: Register for SRMS EET 2023

As stated above, aspirants can apply for SRMS EET in two ways: Offline and Online. After qualifying the exam, students need to deposit a processing fee of INR 30,000 (refundable if candidates withdraw their candidature or are not selected in the merit list) during counselling or before the last date of admission.

Step-2: Download SRMS EET 2023 Admit card

Aspirants will be able to download SRMS EET 2023 admit card from the official website likely in May. The admit card will comprise details such as the Candidate's Name, Address, contact details, test centres etc.

Step-3: Appear for SRMS EET 2023

SRMS EET will tentatively be conducted in June for admissions to 15% BTech seats including the vacant and lapsed ones.

Step-4: Check SRMS EET 2023 exam result

SRMS EET 2023 exam results will be declared in June on the official website.

SRMS EET 2023 Exam pattern will be decided by the admission authorities and can change from year to year. However, no new guidelines have been released so far by the SRMS group regarding the exam pattern. Some details about the expected SRMS EET 2023 exam pattern are as follows:

• SRMS EET 2023 will comprise a total of 100 questions.
• All the questions in SRMS EET 2023 will be of multiple choice/objective type.
• Each question in SRMS EET 2023 will be followed by 4 options out of which only one will be correct. Candidates need to mark only one answer for each question.
• Candidates will be provided with a total time of 120 minutes to complete the exam. No extra time will be allotted under any circumstances.
• SRMS EET 2023 is expected to be divided into 4 sections, comprising of subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
• There will be no negative marking in SRMS EET 2023 exam.

Students will be able to download the only after logging in to the official website. Candidates are advised to follow a few simple steps in order to download SRMS EET 2023 Admit card:

• Visit the official website which is www.srmuniv.ac.in
• Use the login credentials to access the personalised student page
• Click on the SRMS EET 2023 admit card tab to access the same.
• The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
• Save the admit card and take multiple printouts of the same for future reference.

Applicants are requested not to tamper with the admit card as it will become invalid under such circumstances and candidates will not be able to appear for the exam.

SRMS EET 2023 Result will be released by the SRMS Engineering Institutions on their official website. The steps for checking the SRMS EET 2023 result are mentioned below:

• Visit the official website of SRMS EET 2023.
• Enter your Registration Number and Contact Number to log in.
• Click on the SRMS EET 2023 Result tab to access the same.
• The scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
• Save the SRMS EET 2023 scorecard and take multiple printouts of the same for future reference.

Candidates scoring above or equal to SRMS EET 2023 Cutoff will be called to participate in the SRMS EET 2023 Counselling and Selection Process.
