AP TET Question Papers PDF: The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2024 exam was held from October 3 to 21, 2024. The AP TET exam was conducted online in the computer-based test mode wherein the question papers were displayed on the computer screens of candidates. The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh released the AP TET question papers 2024 on the official website- aptet.apcfss.in. The APTET question papers are available shift-wise and date-wise. For the ease of candidates, we have shared below the AP TET question paper PDFs. Q:   What is the structure of AP TET question paper?

The AP TET question paper structure has remained unchanged since past few years. The APTET question paper differs for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The AP TET Paper 1 question paper contains 30 questions from each of these five sections- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Odiya), Language-II (English), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. On the other hand, AP TET Paper 2 A/B question paper contains 30 MCQs from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Odiya, and Sanskrit) and Language-II (English) and 60 questions from Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Science (Paper 2 A)/ Category of Disability Specialization and Pedagogy (Paper 2 B).

Q:   What is the difficulty level of APTET exam?

The difficulty level of the APTET exam may vary from subject to subject and from one exam cycle to another. However, in general, the APTET exam is considered to be a moderately difficult exam that tests the candidates' knowledge, comprehension, analytical and reasoning abilities. The exam consists of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. 

Paper 1 is taken to determine the eligibility of the applicants to teach in Primary Schools (Class 1 to 5). The Paper 1 comprises 5 subjects: 

  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Language-I
  • Language-II
  • Mathematics
  • Environmental Studies

On the other hand, the APTET Paper 2 is taken to determine the eligibility of applicants to teach in Upper Primary Schools (Class 6 to 8). The Paper 2 comprises 4 subjects:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Language-I
  • Language-II

The candidate appearing for the Andhra Pradesh TET exam will be considered qualified if they secure pre decided cut off marks set by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The category wise cut off marks has been given below for the candidates: a) For General Category: 60 per cent marks b) For OBC category: 50 per cent marks c) For SC, ST, PwD: 40 per cent marks.

APTET (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a State Level teacher eligibility exam conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Department of School Education. The exam is conducted once a year for determining the eligibility of the applicants to teach in primary and upper primary schools of Andhra Pradesh. The APTET exam is conductedforotwo papers: Paper1 and Paper 2. The paper 1 is for the eligibility test for Primary teachers whereas the Paper 2 is for upper primary schools. Each paper comprises 150 question that has to be solved in 150 minutes fpr one marks each. There is no negative marking for wrong answer as well no penalty will given for unanswered questions.

No, there are no negative marks in the Andhra Pradesh TET exam. The APTET exam consists two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2 each carrying a total of 150 marks each. Q:   Does the APTET exam consist of subjective questions?

The APTET exam contains multiple-choice questions (MCQs) only. There are no subjective questions in the APTET exam. All questions are designed to test the candidates' knowledge and understanding of various subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and Language II, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
