BPCL Management Trainee

Initially appointed for one year, they can be confirmed for the permanent position of executive in BPCL. The job location can be anywhere in India because the petroleum and gas plants of BPCL are scattered across India.

Chemical Engineering B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) – Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology through AICTE/UGC approved Indian Universities / Institutes.
Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) – Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering through AICTE/UGC approved Indian Universities / Institutes.

It is important that candidates should have passed the degree in the first attempt. Integrated Courses or courses with 5 years or more course duration would not be eligible for the position.

NOC: Candidates presently employed in Central/ State Government, Autonomous bodies and PSUs need to submit 'No Objection Certificate'. It will be required at the time of GD / PI failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the selection process.

BPCL recruitment application for Management Trainee

The BPCL recruitment application can be sent to the mentioned authority as prescribed in the advertisement. The BPCL recruitment application’s format is mentioned in the advertisement and the candidates need to follow the instructions given in the recruitment advertisement.

Prerequisites for the BPCL recruitment application

Candidate should have scanned image of the recent passport-sized photograph. The Scanned image must be in JPG, PNG, JPEG format and size should not exceed more than 50kb. 
While filling application form candidate must fill the following details:

Candidates must finally submit the BPCL recruitment application after filling all the details. After submitting the form, an email will be sent on the registered email –id of the candidate containing an auto-generated application number and completed application form.

Candidates have to take the print out of the completed application form and paste their recent passport-sized photograph on this form.
Candidates have to submit this application form during the interview if they are selected in the application selection process.

BPCL Selection Process

BPCL recruitment has a three-stage selection process. The candidates are shortlisted based on the academic qualification and the valid GATE Scores in the concerned engineering discipline.

Stage 1 - Written Exam

A written exam will be conducted to select the candidates for the interview stage. The BPCL admit card will be issued for the written exam.

Stage 2 – Group Discussion and Personal Interview

The shortlisted candidates are called for group discussions and personal interviews.

Stage 3 – Medical Test

The selected candidates have to undergo the medical test for the final selection. Candidates need to qualify each stage of the BPCL selection process successfully before being considered for final selection.

Salary of Management Trainee

Management Trainee would be placed in Job Group “A”, with a basic salary of Rs. 24,900/- (Scale of Pay Rs. 24,900 – Rs. 50,500). 

In addition to this, Dearness Allowance (DA) based on IDA pattern is payable. House Rent Assistance, if applicable will vary based on the class of city of posting.
The total emoluments at entry-level in Job Group ‘A’ are presently Rs. 14.1 Lakhs per annum (approx. cost to company). 

This includes 50% of Basic Pay as Perks & Allowances, Performance Related Pay & 30% of Basic plus DA as superannuation benefits (Provident Fund, Gratuity & New Pension Scheme).
