CDS Admit Card 2025
The admit card for the CDS 1 exam 2025 exam will be released on the official website. UPSC CDS admit card is an important document without which candidates are not given entry to the exam hall. How to Download CDS 1 Admit Card?
The steps to download the admit card of CDS are given below:
- Step 1: Visit the official website-upsc.gov.in
- Step 2: Go to the 'What's New' Section and Click on the 'E-Admit Card CDS Exam 2025' link
- Step 3: A new page will open with the download link
- Step 4: Read all the instructions carefully before downloading the admit card
- Step 5: After reading the instructions, click on the 'Yes' button to proceed toward downloading the admit card
- Step 6: Enter the following details on the login page:
- Registration Number and date of birth, Or
- Roll Number and Date of Birth, Or
- Name, Father’s Name, and Date of Birth
- Step 7: After filling in the details, click on the ‘Submit’ tab
- Step 8: The CDS 2025 admit card appears on the screen
- Step 9: Download the admit card and take its printout

- Candidates should use the latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox Browsers to download CDS admit card
- Candidates should not use mobile phones to download the CDS admit card. They should use Windows OS on the desktop computer

Discrepancies in UPSC CDS Admit Card
Candidates are advised to check their name, father’s name, category, date of birth, photograph, and signature, etc. printed on the admit card carefully. CDS Exam Pattern for IMA, INA, IFA
The candidates who are going to appear for the CDS exam for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and AFA (Air Force Academy) must know the exam pattern. The UPSC CDS exam pattern has been given below for the candidates:
- The CDS exam for INA, IMA, and AFA is taken for three subjects - English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Maths
- The exam duration for each paper is 2 hours (120 minutes)
- Each subject will have 100 MCQs
- The maximum mark in each subject is 100 marks
- The questions will be available in English and Hindi language
CDS Exam Pattern for OTA
The OTA has a different exam pattern as compared to INA, IMA, and AFA. The exam pattern for CDS OTA has been given below for the candidates. The candidates must go through the exam pattern of UPSC CDS OTA to understand the exam better:
- The OTA exam is taken for two subjects- English and General Ability Test
- The total time duration for the OTA exam is 4 hours (2 hours for each paper)
- Total number of questions: 100 MCQs
- Maximum marks in each subject are 100 marks
- The questions will be available in English and Hindi

CDS Exam Day Instructions 2025
A few exam day instructions for the CDS 1 exam are given below:
- Without an admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall
- Candidates must preserve their CDS admit card till the completion of the recruitment process
- The entry gate will be closed 10 minutes before the exam
- Electronic devices such as calculators, mobile phones, pages, etc. are not allowed inside the examination hall
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination centre until the completion of the test
- Candidates need to maintain social distancing
- Candidates need to wear masks
