HTET 2024 Postponed: The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has postponed the HTET exam 2024. The BSEH will soon announce the new HTET exam date 2024. The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) exam was scheduled to be held on December 7 and 8, 2024 for PRT, TGT and PGT. The HTET application form 2024 was available from November 4 to 15, 2024. Eligible candidates needed to apply online to appear for the HTET 2024 exam. The Haryana TET form correction 2024 window was available from November 16 to 17, 2024. The HTET 2024 notification PDF was released on October 30, 2024, on the official website - https://bseh.org.in. 

The HTET exam determines the candidates' eligibility to teach in Haryana's primary and upper schools. Candidates qualifying the Haryana TET exam will become eligible to take the teacher recruitment exam conducted by the Haryana Government.

A: 

The date for the HTET 2024 has been postponed by the Haryana Government. The Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH) was set to conduct the HTET exam on December 7 and 8, 2024. However, the exam has now been postponed. The HTET new exam date 2024 will be announced later. The HTET notification 2024 was released on October 30, 2024. The notification was released in PDF format comprising details like date of exam, application dates, important instructions, eligibility, etc.

What is HTET?

HTET or Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH), is an eligibility test for teachers. HTET is held for different levels including the Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as PRT/ TGT/ PGT teachers in schools run by Haryana State Government. After qualifying the test, candidates receive the TET certificate which is now valid for a lifetime. Candidates can apply for the teacher vacancies in the state after obtaining an HTET certificate.

HTET admit card 2024

The HTET 2024 admit card will be released by the BSEH around a week before the exam. The HTET admit card 2024 will be released separately for levels 1, 2, and 3 on the official website of the HTET exam. Candidates can download the HTET admit card using the given steps:

Important Note: The HTET admit card 2024 is withheld for candidates with double registration/ improper documents. The BSEH does not issue the admit cards of candidates who carry out double registration based on name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, and Aadhaar Number. Such candidates need to provide a copy of the confirmation page of the HTET application form 2024, an Aadhaar Card, and a secondary certificate along with an explanation behind double registration. These details need to be provided through the HTET Double Registration Explanation Form and emailed to assplexam@bseh.org.in. Candidates who fail to provide these details are not issued the admit cards.

HTET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates need to fulfil the HTET eligibility criteria 2024 to apply for the exam. Have a look at the eligibility conditions including the educational qualification, age limit and others:

HTET Educational qualification:

  • Level 1 (PRT for Classes 1 to 5): Class 12 pass with at least 50 per cent marks along with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)
  • Level 2 (TGT for Class 6 to 8): Bachelor’s Degree with D.EI.Ed or BEd
  • Level 3 (PGT for above Class 8): Master’s Degree along with BEd

HTET Age Limit: Candidates between 18 to 38 years of age can apply for the HTET 2024 exam.

HTET IRIS Biometric Verification 2024
