IBPS Clerk Exam Date 2025: Prelims Exam Timing, Schedule & Duration

IBPS Clerk Notification 2025 will be released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in October/November 2025. The notification will bereleased to select candidates for the post of Clerks in 11 participating banks. The selection process of IBPS Clerk comprises prelims and Mains exams. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The notification is released in PDF form and comprises the important details related to the exam.

IBPS Clerk 2025 Application Form will be released in October/November 2025. Candidates can fill out the IBPS Clerk application form by registering on the official website. Any graduate candidate can apply for IBPS Clerk exam. The application process comprises several stages such as registration, uploading the scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed application form, previewing the application, uploading the left thumb impression and handwritten declaration. The application fees for the exam are INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories.

The candidates who are looking for government bank jobs must go for Bank PO Recruitment or IBPS PO Recruitment. The official website has revealed the IBPS PO notification, those who are willing to get placed at the Bank PO position should start their exam preparation as soon as possible. The IBPS PO is conducted in two phases Prelim and Main. Those who appears in IBPS PO Prelim Exam and qualify it with good score will be eligible for the next phase that is Bank PO Exam Mains. The candidates who get shortlisted in PO Exam Main round will be applicable to appear in Interview round, which is the last and final stage of IBPS PO Recruitment. The final result of Bank PO Exams will be declared on the basis of candidates combined performance in IBPS PO main and interview session. The prelims exam for IBPS Clerk  (Customer Service Associates) will be conducted on December 6, 7, 13 and 14, 2025. The Mains exam for this post will be conducted on February 1, 2026. The examination authority has renamed the post of Clerks to Customer Service Associates. 

Both the IBPS Clerk and RRB PO positions have their own unique characteristics, and it ultimately depends on your individual career goals and preferences.
