The MP TET exam for Primary School Teachers was held on November 10, 2024. The MP TET Varg 3 admit card 2024 was released on November 4, 2024. The MP PSTET 2024 application form was available from October 1 to 15, 2024. The MP TET form correction 2024 window was active from October 1 to 20, 2024. The MP TET notification 2024 for the PSTET exam was released on September 27, 2024.

The MP TET Varg 3 answer key 2024 has been released. MPESB released the MP TET Provisional Answer Key for Primary School TET 2024 exam along with the online objection link. Q:   How many questions are asked in MP TET exam?

MP TET (Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options and a single correct answer. The total marks for both papers are 150, with each question carrying one mark. The distribution of questions and marks in each paper is as follows :-

  • Paper 1: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. 
  • Paper 2: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science.

It is important to note that each question carries equal weightage, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify the MP TET exam.

No, you cannot check the MP TET Result offline. The exam authority does not publish the MP TET result in offline mode. The candidates have to check the MP TET result in online mode. Q:   Is there any age criteria to apply for the MP TET exam?

Candidates should be a minimum of 18 of age in order to be eligible to apply for the MP TET exam. There is no upper age limit for the MP TET exam. The educational qualification to apply for the MP TET exam has been given below for the candidates:

Primary

  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd)
  • Graduation with BEd (final year appearing or passed)

Upper Primary

  • Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd
  • Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and a one year BEd
  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BElEd

MP TET Application Form 2024

MP TET application form is released online on the official website. Candidates who want to appear for the Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) need to apply online for the exam. 

MP TET Admit Card 2024

The MP TET admit card is released online around a week before the exam. The admit card is an important document without which candidates are not permitted to enter the exam centre. Candidates can download the MP TET admit card from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates need to use their login credentials. The hard copy of the MP TET admit card is not sent to candidates by post. 

MP TET Exam 2024

MP TET exam is conducted online. Candidates who qualify for the exam by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks are awarded the MP TET certificate. The MP TET qualifying marks are 60 per cent for general category candidates and 50 per cent for reserved category candidates.

MP TET Result 2024

The MP TET result is announced online on the official website. MP TET result is made available in PDF format that displays information such as the candidate's name, roll number, section-wise and overall scores.

After qualifying the MP TET exam, the candidates are awarded with the eligibility Certificate. MP TET does not guarantee any job after the candidate qualifies the exam. Though, the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam after qualifying for the MP TET exam. The recruitment exam for recruiting teachers in the schools of Madhya Pradesh. Q:   How many papers does one need to give to qualify the MP TET exam?

Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 5 need to qualify MP TET Paper 1. Candidates planning to teach Classes 6 to 8 need to qualify for MP TET Paper 2. Yes, the MP TET exam is conducted on a single day but in two different shifts. The details of the MP TET exam shifts has been given below for the candidates:

  • Shift 1 is conducted from 10:00 am-12:30 pm for MP TET Paper 1
  • Shift 2 is conducted from 2:30-5:00 pm for MP TET Paper 2

However, the shift timing can be changed by the board. Though, the candidates will be informed by the board before if any changes are made for the MP TET exam.
