After qualifying the MP TET exam, the candidates are awarded with the eligibility Certificate. MP TET does not guarantee any job after the candidate qualifies the exam. Though, the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam after qualifying for the MP TET exam. The recruitment exam for recruiting teachers in the schools of Madhya Pradesh. The candidates can apply for the different vacancies according to their eligibility. The Madhya Pradesh government releases the vacancies for the teachers according to the needs of the state.

MP TET (Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options and a single correct answer. The total marks for both papers are 150, with each question carrying one mark. The distribution of questions and marks in each paper is as follows :-

• Paper 1: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. 
• Paper 2: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science.

It is important to note that each question carries equal weightage, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify the MP TET exam.

The duration of the MP TET (Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) Exam is 2.5 hours (150 minutes) for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exam is conducted in two shifts, with Paper 1 conducted in the morning shift and Paper 2 conducted in the afternoon shift. Each paper of the MP TET Exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. The level of difficulty may vary from one year to the next and depends on the candidates’ level of preparation. In general, the questions are based on basic concepts of different subjects. Candidates who are well-versed in the subject and are well-prepared for the exam will be able to easily answer the questions. To prepare well for MP TET exam, candidates should thoroughly study the syllabus and practice the question papers of previous years and mock tests.

The MP TET exam is conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test. Candidates need to mark their answers on the OMR sheet. The candidates need to fill the sheet carefully as no extra OMR sheet will not be given in the exam. However, the MP TET application process is complete online process. The candidates have to fill out he application form online on the official website. Other than this the application fee have to paid online.
