What is NABARD Recruitment?
National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development or NABARD is the apex development financial institution in India that caters to the needs of the rural population by providing credit for agriculture and other economic activities in rural areas in India. Being one of the popular banks in the country, NABARD recruitment attracts thousands of youths every year who aspire to join the banking sector. The bank engages eligible candidates both on a regular and contractual basis. Regular basis recruitment is conducted to fill up the posts in Group A, B, and C.

NABARD Grade B Eligibility
To be eligible for NABARD B recruitment candidates need to fulfil a certain set of guidelines in terms of eligibility such as age, educational qualification, and nationality as given below:
Educational qualification: Postgraduation in any subject from any recognised university with 60 per cent (55 per cent for SC/PWBD). Candidates should have a minimum 60 per cent in Class 10, 12, Graduation and PG, MBA/PGDM at all levels or a minimum 60 per cent or equivalent in Class 10, 12, Graduation, PG, and Professional degree (CA/CS/CWA) or a minimum of 60 per cent or equivalent in Class 10, 12, graduation. PG and PhD.
Work Experience: Candidates must have experience of three years (SC/PWBD is two years) in related sectors such as Banking, Finance, Agriculture & Allied, and Rural Development.
Age limit: The upper age limit has been reduced. Candidates between 25 and 32 years as on July 1, 2021, can apply for the exam. Candidates must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1989, and not later than July 1, 1996.

The complete selection process of NABARD recruitment is explained below:
Filling the application form
Filling NABARD recruitment application form is the first stage of selection. Candidates need to apply online for the exam. The application fees for Grade B are INR 850 for General Category and INR 100 for SC/ST/ PWBD.

Release of Admit Card
The admit card is released phase-wise. First, NABARD admit card for the preliminary exam is released. Candidates qualifying the preliminary exam are issued admit card for the mains exam. Interview call letter is issued to candidates qualifying the mains exam.
Appearing in the online test
The online test is conducted in two phases-preliminary and mains exams. All registered candidates are required to first appear in the preliminary exam. The preliminary exam is conducted for 120 minutes. The test paper is divided into eight sections, Test of Reasoning, Decision Making, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude, Eco. & Social Issues and Agri. & Rural Dev. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 200. The mains exam comprises two objective-type and descriptive-type papers and one descriptive-type paper. The mains exam carries a total of 300 marks. The interview carries 75 marks.
