NRA CET Exam Pattern 2024: The special committee formed for NRA CET has recommended that NRA CET exam pattern is divided into two parts-A and B. Part A will consist of Basic Aptitude, Test of Reasoning, Verbal Ability, General Science and General Knowledge. Part B paper will test the candidate’s psychology and response to certain situations, qualifying in nature, yet mandatory for final appointments. All gazetted posts of Government of India and post of Probationary Officers in public sector banks will have separate admission tests as conducted by individual recruitment bodies. There will be at least one exam centre in each district of the country. Initially the test will be conducted in 12 languages including Hindi and English. Later on all the languages mentioned in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution will be added. The mode of NRA CET will be decided based on the number of applicants.

NRA CET exam will be conducted at three levels-Class 10, Class 12, and graduation. Common Eligibility Test (CET) will replace the preliminary exams for SSC, RRB and IBPS government jobs. The NRA CET scores will be used by the various government recruitment bodies to select candidates for further rounds of selection such as mains/tier-2, tier-3, tier-4, interview, etc. In this article, we have given an expected NRA CET exam pattern based on the existing test patterns of SSCRRB and IBPS exams.

What is NRA CET Exam Pattern?

The detailed NRA CET exam pattern will be released soon by the National Recruitment Agency. NRA CET exam pattern is such that it comprises maximum marks, subjects, marking scheme and exam duration. NRA CET online exam might comprise total four subjects based on which the aptitude of a candidate will be judged. Since there will be Common Eligibility Test (CET) at three levels (Class 10, Class and graduation), NRA CET exam pattern is most likely to be framed as per the levels of exam. There will be a common exam pattern for NRA CET.

Which Exams Comes Under NRA CET?

NRA CET will replace the prelims exam conducted for the non-gazetted posts. The prelims/tier-1 of the following exams will be conducted by NRA CET.

Is there any Negative Marking in NRA CET exam?

Yes, there are negative marking in NRA CET exam. For every wrong question, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks also.

Q:   What is NRA CET marking scheme?

A:

NRA CET question paper will be set in 12 language.  The question paper will be set as a multiple-choice questionnaire with objective questions. Each of the four sections will have 50 questions of 1 mark, each with a total of 200 marks for the entire paper with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Preparation Tips: 1- Go through the syllabus and pattern. 2- According to the syllabus and exam pattern, Create a proper study plan. 3- Buy the standard books and relevant study material. 4- Solve the previous year's paper and give mock tests. 1- English Language: This section tests your basic knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and verbal ability. No, SSC, RRB and IBPS will continue conducting recruitment exams as per the vacancies posted by the government. They will only stop conducting the first-level screening exam for recruitment.
