RRB Group D notification 2024 will be released soon by the Railway Recruitment Boards. The notification will be released in PDF form and comprises the details related to the exam. The selection process of RRB Group D comprises Computer Based Test,  Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification and Medical Exam. CCAAs trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in NCVT for preparation of the final merit list. They are also exempted from PET/PST.

RRB Group D application form 2024 will be released soon by the Railway Recruitment Boards. RRB Group D application form should be filled online only. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250. Candidates can pay the fee both online and offline. Candidates are not required to sent the hard copy of the application form.

The CBT of RRB Group D exam comprises four sections-General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Total marks allotted to CBT are 100. Based on the marks obtained in CBT, candidates are called for PET. The PET is qualifying in nature. Those who qualify the PET are called for document verification. Final empanellment of candidates is done based on the performance in CBT subject to their qualifying the document verification and medical exam. The selection process comprises CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The recruitment is conducted to select candidates for the various posts in Level-1 of the seventh CPC pay matrix such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, and many more.

Yes, RRBs release the answer key of RRB Group D a few days after the completion of the exam. The answer keys are made available on the official website and candidates need to download them by entering the required login credentials. Candidates can even raise objections against the answer key by paying INR 50 per answer. The objections submitted by candidates are examined by the subject-matter experts. RRB Group D admit card is released four days before the exam. To download the admit card, candidates are required to enter user ID and password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent by post. Candidates need to download the admit card and take the printout of it along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. The admit card comprises two parts-candidate's copy and RRB copy. The question paper of RRB Group D CBT is formulated in 15 languages Hindi English Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipur, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. The RRB paper, or Railway Recruitment Board paper, can be in various languages depending on the region or the specific examination. However, the majority of RRB papers are in the official language of the state in which the examination is taking place. For example, if the examination is taking place in Tamil Nadu, the paper is likely to be in Tamil. Likewise, if the exam is taking place in Kolkata, the language of the question paper will be in Bengali. Candidates can opt to choose the exam language while filling the application form.

RRB Group D exam is conducted in three shifts. The exam for the morning shift begins at 9 am. The exam for second shift starts at 12.45 pm. The exam for the third shift starts at 5 pm. The details related to RRB Group D shift timings are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to reach the exam centre as per the timings mentioned on the admit card. The basic RRB Group D salary is INR 18,000. Besides the salary, candidates are also entitled to certain allowances and benefits. RRB Group D salary after 10 years increases upto INR 25,000 depending upon various factors. Candidates' salary is revised on the basis of 39 per cent DA allowances and the salary after five years jumps to INR 15,000 at least, depending on their pay band and the city they are posted in. The salary structure is given below.

Candidates selected through RRB Group D exam get in hand salary in the range of INR 25,000 to 27,000 as per the 7th pay commission. Besides getting the RRB Group D in hand salary, candidates are also entitled to various perks and allowances. The basic RRB Group D salary is INR 18,000. For the RRB Group D exam, the age of candidates should be between 18 and 33 years. Candidates must have completed Class 10 from an Institution recognised by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT to apply for the exam. RRB NTPC result is announced online on the official website of RRBs. The result link is made available separately for different RRB regions. The result is released in PDF form and comprises the roll numbers of qualified candidates. The scorecard is released along with the result.
