RRB Group D Scorecard 2024: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) release RRB Group D scorecard online for CBT. The scorecard is made available on the official website along with RRB Group D result. We will provide the direct link to download the RRB Group D scorecard. To access the scorecard of RRB Group D, candidates need to enter user ID and password. In the scorecard, candidates can find details such as overall score, subject-wise score, percentile marks, qualifying status and RRB Group D cut off. Q:   How many questions are asked in RRB Group D exam?

A:
The question paper of RRB Group D comprises a total of 100 questions. There are a total of 25 questions each in General Science and Mathematics. Total 30 questions are asked in General Intelligence and Reasoning section and 20 in General Awareness and Current Affairs. RRB Group D exam is conducted for the post of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman and other Level-I posts. Q:   What is RRB Group D selection process?

A:
RRB Group D selection process comprises CBT, PET/PST, document verification and medical exam. The transgender candidates are given relaxation in the PET. CCAAs trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in their NCVT exam in preparation of final merit list after the conduct of CBT. Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PER, candidates are called for document verification as per their merit and options. In case of two or more candidates secure same marks, their merit position is determined by age criteria i.e., older person is placed at higher merit and in case age is same, then alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name is taken into account to break the tie. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. All candidates clearing the DV are called for medical exam. RRBs/RRCs only recommend names of the empanelled candidates and appointment is offered only by the respective Railway Administrations.

RRB Group D Scorecard Link

A common RRB Group D scorecard link is activated by the RRBs. We will provide the direct scorecard download link on this page. To download the scorecard, candidates need to login with the required login credentials. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post.

Q:   When RRB Group D scorecard is released?

A:

RRB Group D scorecard is released along with the result. Candidates need to download their scorecard by logging into their accounts with user ID and password. The scorecard display details such as candidate's name, roll number, registration number, raw score, pro-rata score, normalised score and qualifying status. The steps to download the scorecard are given below:

  • Visit the official websites of RRBs
  • Click the 'RRB Group D scorecard' link on the home page
  • Enter user ID and password in the login page
  • RRB Group D scorecard appears on the screen
  • Download the scorecard and save it

Q:   Is the RRB Group D result announced based on the normalised marks?

A:

Yes, RRB Group D result is declared after the marks of the candidates are normalised using the equi-percentile method. The percentile score of each candidate is converted by RRBs into normalised marks by interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift. The calculation of base shift is done using the standard mathematical formula of interpolation. The purpose of interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift is done to decide the minimum qualifying marks as well as give weightage in marks to CCAA candidates.

Q:   Is there any qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam?

A:

Yes, there are qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam. The qualifying marks for UR and EWS categories are 40 per cent while it is 30 per cent for OBC (Non Creamy Layer), SC and ST. Candidates need to secure both the qualifying marks and overall cut off marks. The category-wise qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam are given below.

What is RRB Group D percentile based normalisation?

RRBs will use percentile-based normalisation for the calculation of RRB Group D scores. In Percentile-Based normalisation, the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift of examinees. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below (same or lower raw scores) that particular percentile in that examination. The percentile score of each candidate will be converted by RRBs into normalised marks by interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift. The calculation of base shift will be done using the standard mathematical formula of interpolation. The purpose of interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift is done to decide the minimum qualifying marks as well as give weightage in marks to CCAA candidates.

A:

It is important for candidates to know that apart from the Railway Group D Cut Off, it is compulsory to obtain the minimum qualifying percentage marks as decided by the RRB. The percentile required to crack RRB Group D exam is given below.
