The Commission will conduct the Constable GD in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF and Rifleman GD in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 on February 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24 and 25, 2025. The SSC GD Constable 2025 exam will be conducted online in the computer based exam (CBE) mode. The Staff Selection Commission organises the exam in various exam centres across India.

Earlier, there were 4 tiers in the SSC CGL exam but the Commission 2022 changed the exam pattern and removed Tier 3 and Tier 4 from the exam process. Now, the SSC CGL Tier 2 result is considered the final result.

The SSC GD apply online 2026 link will be activated by the Commission on November 11, 2025, along with the release of official notification. The Commission will release the official notification and application form for the SSC GD 2026 session on its official website. Candidates are required to fill out the SSC GD Constable application form 2026 in order to appear for the exam. The SSC GD last date 2026 to fill out the online form is December 15, 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the SSC GD final result 2024 on December 13, 2024. The SSC GD result has been announced on the official website at ssc.gov.in. Along with the GD result, the commission announced the force-wise and category-wise GD Constable Cut Off. The SSC GD marks 2024 will also be released. The SSC GD marks and score card contain the section-wise scores of candidates. The SSC GD result only contains the qualifying status, cut off marks and force-wise qualifying numbers. The SSC GD result 2024 of the CBE was released on July 10, 2024.

Candidates who are appearing in their matriculation exam can apply for the SSC MTS exam, but they must ensure that they fulfill the age requirement as mentioned in the official notification. However, it is advised that such candidates should not apply for the exam, as they may not be able to produce their matriculation certificate at the time of document verification. The Commission will release the admit card only to those candidates who have uploaded their matriculation certificate during the application process.

Therefore, it is recommended that candidates who are appearing in their matriculation exam should wait for the results and then apply for the SSC MTS exam.

The SSC CGL AAO (Assistant Audit Officer) salary is as follows:

The SSC CGL AAO salary ranges from INR 47,600 to INR 1,51,100 per month, based on the pay level and city of posting. The approximate gross SSC CGL AAO salary at pay level 8 is INR 63,100 to INR 70,716 per month, depending on the city of posting.

Please note that the SSC CGL salary is not the same for all candidates, as it varies based on the post and city of posting. The SSC CGL AAO salary is the highest among all the SSC CGL posts, followed by the Assistant Audit Officer (Non-Ministerial) post.
