A: 

The minimum marks to crack the SBI SO exam isn't disclosed yet by the governing committee. It depends on the level of competition and the number of vacancies they have. Based on these, after the examination is over, the committee decides the cut-off level and sends notifications to the qualifying candidates informing them of further procedures. There are no sectional cut off marks in SBI SO exam. Candidates need to secure the overall cut off marks as per their categories in the exam. The marks of candidate are calculated as per the marking scheme. The marking scheme is given below:

  • There is SBI SO negative marking for wrong answers, one-fourth of marks assigned to a particular question in the objective test are deducted as a penalty to arrive at the corrected scores.
  • If a question is left blank, there will be no penalty for that question.
  • For correct answers, candidates score one mark.

SBI SO Salary: Perks and Allowances

The perks and allowances offered to different posts are given below:

Assistant Manager (Network Security Specialist) & Assistant Manager (Routing & Switching)

Candidates are eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility etc. as per rules in force from time to time.

MMGS Grade Scale III

Candidates are eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility, etc. as per rules in force from time to time.

Faculty, SBIL, Kolkata

In addition to CTC, candidates are offered other perks such as Travelling Expenses (TE) for traveling by taxi, air (economy class) in case of traveling on official duties, and Deputation Allowance (DA) equivalent to the Assistant General Manager of the bank. The selected faculty will be allowed to utilize up to a maximum of 90 days p.a in external teaching/ consulting on a revenue-sharing model. Where income generated is more than INR 5 lakh per annum from these activities, 40 per cent of the excess amount shall be shared with the institute (Taxes as applicable).

Chief Manager (Special situation Team) & Deputy Manager (Stressed Assets Marketing)

The officials are eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility, etc. as per rules in force from time to time.

Deputy Manager (Stressed Assets Marketing)

No perks/other benefits, other than CTC are given to candidates. CTC compromised fixed pay and variable pay in the ratio of 80:20.

Executive (FI & MM) and Sr. Executive (Social Banking & CSR)

Fixed pay component is 70 per cent, variable pay component of 30 per cent, annual increment of maximum 10 per cent subject to fulfillment of bank’s conditions, travelling allowance and other perks are applicable as per bank’s rule.

Deputy Manager (IS Audit)

The officials are eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension, LFC, Medical Facility, etc as per rules in force from time to time.
