Territorial Army Notification 2024: Indian Army released the Territorial Army notification for the 2847 posts of Soldiers, Clerks, and Tradesmen posts in various Battalions and Units under the Territorial Army. Candidates are not required apply for the exam since the recruitment will be done through the rally. Earlier, the notification for ex-officers was released. Interested candidates could fill the application form online till September 27, 2024. Both male and female candidates can apply for the exam.
Territorial Army notification 2024 for Civilian post will be released soon. Interested candidates can apply online by paying INR 200 as an application fee. The written exam of Territorial Army 2024 Civilian Post will be conducted in the 3rd/4th week of December 2024 across 25 cities.

- Pay and Allowances and privileges will be the same as Regular Army Officers when embodied for training and military service
- Promotions upto Lt Col by time scale subject to fulfilling laid down criteria. Promotion to Colonel and Brigadier by selection
- Officers commissioned in the Territorial Army may be called out for military service for a longer duration depending on the requirement.

- Application Form IAF (TA)-9 (Revised) Part-2 to be downloaded and fill it up in their own handwriting.
- All educational qualification certificates (Matric onwards).
- The latest physical fitness certificate from a registered MBBS Doctor.
- Copy of Identity proof with photographs (Voter ID/PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving license etc.).
- Domicile/ Residential proof.
- Certificate for proof of age (Matric/ Senior Secondary mark sheet and certificate for verification of date of birth).
- Service certificate by candidates employed in Central Govt/ Union Territory/ State/Semi Govt/ PSU Authenticated by Head Office along with salary certificate and No Objection Certificate by the department as per format given below.
- Service certificate by candidates employed in the Private Sector Authenticated by the Head Office along with salary certificate and No Objection Certificate by the department as per format.
- Self-employed candidates are required to submit an Affidavit on Non-Judicial stamp paper of minimum value duly attested stating the nature of employment and annual income along with a photocopy of PAN card and self-certified Character Certificate.
- Candidates whose names vary in documents should submit a copy of the Gazette notification of India/ State showing the correct name or an affidavit duly supported by newspaper cuttings.
- The latest income proof from the appropriate authority (i.e. Income Tax Revenue Department / Magistrate / Employer).
- Copy of the latest Income Tax Return (ITR) filed.
- Copy of PAN Card.
- Copy of Aadhar Card.
- Employees of Railways are required to submit a No Objection Certificate authenticated by the Railway Board.

Territorial Army Notification: How to Apply?
Territorial Army application form for Civilians is made available online. The application fee is INR 200. Before filling the application form, candidates must have a valid email ID. While filling in the application form, candidates should carefully select the exam centre. The examination authority will not accept any request for a change of exam centre. Post final submission, candidates must keep a copy of the application form.
Territorial Army Exam Pattern
The written test comprises two papers I and II. Paper I comprises two parts: I and II. Questions in this paper are asked from Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics. Paper-II which also has two parts comprises questions from General Knowledge and English. Each paper will be for two hours. The test will have a total of 100 questions and the total marks are 100.

Upvote Territorial Army Selection Process
Candidates whose application forms are found correct will be called for screening (written exam followed by interview only if passed in written exam) by a Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) by the respective Territorial Army Group Headquarters. Successful candidates will further undergo tests at a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection. Candidates need to secure minimum 40 per cent marks in each part of the paper separately and overall average of 50 per cent.
Selected candidates will be imparted one month basic training in the first year of commission, two months annual training camp every year including the first year, post Commission Training (03 months)/ Pre Commission Training (06 months) as applicable at that time. Candidates will get salary between INR 56,100-1,77,500 in Level-10.
