There are two papers in Tripura TET. Both the papers are conducted in offline mode. Paper-I is for candidates who plan to become teachers for classes I-V. Paper-II is for candidates who plan to teach classes VI-VIII. Tripura TET exam pattern 2021 is different for paper-I and II as explained below:

Tripura TET Exam Pattern 2021 for Paper-I
Tripura TET paper-I contains total 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from five sections. Total weightage for the paper is 150 marks and candidates need to complete it in a duration of 150 minutes (two and a half hours). For further clarification, candidates can refer the table below:

Marking scheme: One mark is awarded for each correct answer in the exam. There is no negative marking in the paper.
Tripura TET Exam Pattern 2021 for Paper-II
Tripura TET paper-II is divided into four sections. First three sections are compulsory. For fourth section, candidates have three choices (as explained in the table below).
Total questions in Tripura TET paper-II are 150. Questions are objective in nature and candidates need to attempt the paper in two and a half hours. Maximum marks that candidates can secure in the exam are 150.

Tripura TET Exam Pattern: Important Points
Some of the important points that candidates should keep in mind regarding the Tripura TET 2021 exam pattern are:
- Tripura TET is conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test
- Both paper-I and II contain objective-type multiple-choice questions
- There are four available options for every question asked in the exam
- Candidates have to shade or darken the right choice of answer among the four given options
- Questions in the exam (other than language papers) are asked in English as well as Bengali languages
- OMR answer sheets for marking answers and instructions written on the sheets are in English only
- In case of any discrepancy in the two versions of the question papers, the English version is considered final
