UP TGT PGT Recruitment 2024: Exam Date, Vacancy, Eligibility & Syllabus

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board (UPSESSB), Allahabad has not announced the exam date for the UP PGT or UP TGT recruitment as of now. UP TGT PGT exam date for the 2022 session will be announced soon by the board. It is expected that the UP TGT/ PGT recruitment exam for a total of 4163 vacancies will be held in December 2024. However, there is no official update yet.

Candidates aspiring to become PGT teacher in Uttar Pradesh schooks need to have a BEd Degree, compulsorily. Candidates must have a Master's Degree in the respective subject from a recognised university along with BEd Degree/ MEd Degree/ PhD/ Part in National Sports Championship. Candidates who fulfill the laid down UP PGT eligibility criteria are eligble to apply for the exam. 

The UPSESSB has prescribed the UP TGT syllabus for the recruitment of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in Uttar Pradesh schools. The UP PGT exam is conducted for several papers depending upon the vacancies announced by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board (UPSESSB) for different posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). The UP PGT exam is generally conducted for the following papers- Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Home Science, Arts, Political Science, History, Geography, Commerce, Agriculture, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Chemistry, Pedagogy, Biology and Physics.

The UP TGT PGT admit card 2024 will be released around 10 days before the exam. The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board (UPSESSB), Allahabad will issue the UP PGT TGT admit cards to all the candidates who applied for the exam. • Upload the scanned documents.
• Pay the UP TGT PGT application fee.
• Submit and save the confirmation page.

No, there is no negative marking in the UP TGT PGT exam. The UP TGT exam carries a total of 500 marks and UP PGT carries 425 marks. In UP TGT exam, a total of 125 questions are asked of 4 marks each. In UP PGT exam, 125 questions are asked of 3.4 marks each. There is no negative marking in the UP TGT PGT exam for wrong answers or unattempted questions in the exam.
