The marking scheme of KTET exam is as follows: - The KTET 2024 exam consists of multiple-choice questions, where each question carries one mark. - There is no negative marking for incorrect answers, which means that candidates do not lose marks for wrong answers. - The KTET exam has a total of 150 questions, and the maximum marks that can be scored are 150.

To qualify the KTET 2024 exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 60 per cent marks, which means that they need to score at least 90 marks out of 150. However, the content of the papers is different, and candidates need to appear for the paper that is relevant to their desired teaching level.

The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) conducts the paper 1 exam to test the eligibility of teachers to teach in the classes between Classes 1 to 6. The WBTET paper 1 syllabus is given below:

The candidates can take the WBTET exam again though they have qualified for it earlier. There is no restriction in taking the again, if the candidate fulfils the eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. The score for the WBTET exam is valid for a lifetime. However, the candidates can take the exam to ensure more marks in the exam

The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) conducts the WBTET paper 2 exam to test the eligibility of the candidates to teach in classes from 6 to 8. The WBTET syllabus for Paper 2 ahs been given below:

There is no negative marking in the WBTET (West Bengal Teacher Eigibility Test) exam. The exam consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers, which means that candidates are not penalised for guessing the answer or attempting a question. However, it is important to note that candidates should try to avoid guessing and attempt only those questions for which they are confident about the answer, as it is the total number of correct answers that will determine their score and ranking in the WBTET exam.

No, qualifying the West Bengal Teaching Eligibility Test (WBTET) does not ensure job as a Government school teacher. WBTET is only a eligibility exam that verifies that the candidates qualifying for the exam is eligible to teach in schools. To get recruited as a teacher in West Bengal Government schools, the WBTET qualified candidates have to appear for the teacher's recruitment exam conducted by the State Government.

There is no age limitation to appear for the WBTET exam. The candidates can take the WBTET exam as many times they want. However, the candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. The educational eligibility criteria for the WBTET exam are given below:

• Bachelor of Education Degree with concerned subjects in Graduation
• Diploma in Elemnetary Education 
• Teacher Training Certificate Along with Secondary/Senior Secondary with atleast 45 percent

To qualify the WBTET (West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test), candidates are required to achieve the minimum qualifying marks set by the conducting authority. Here are the qualifying criteria for WBTET:

For General Category Candidates:

Minimum 60 per cent marks are required to qualify the WBTET examination. 

For Reserved Category Candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PH):

There is a relaxation of 5 per cent for reserved category candidates, so they need to score a minimum of 55 per cent marks to qualify the WBTET examination.

It's important to note that qualifying the WBTET exam does not guarantee a job. It is a mandatory eligibility criterion for candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary and upper primary schools in the state of West Bengal.
