The MAT 2025 registration process for the Feb session is open for PBT and CBT; the last date to apply is Mar 2 and Mar 9, 2025, respectively. Further, MAT 2025 PBT and CBT will be scheduled on Mar 9 and Mar 23, 2025, respectively.

The GATE 2025 admit cards have been released for admission to the MTech course. Registered candidates can log in and download their admit cards from the official website. The GATE 2025 exams are scheduled to be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

The university has been ranked 69th in the NIRF 2023 rankings under the university category. In the QS World University Rankings 2024, the university is ranked 143 in Southern Asia and 501-550 in Asia. Tezpur University Assam comprises four schools, including the School of Sciences, School of Management Sciences, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and School of Engineering.
