It provides good facilities and good teachers. It is one of the best and under the top 10 colleges.
Placements: About 60-100% of students get placed in my course. There is nothing much because placement chances were 10-20% in my course. In this college, there are no placements. As freshers students can do an internship from our course with a stipend that ranges from Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month and then after 6 months, there will be an increment.
Infrastructure: Our college provides one big library, Wi-Fi, 4 computer labs, and an individual BCA department. In our college, medical rooms are available. The food quality is very good. Most importantly our canteen is very big and popular as compared to all canteens in college. Sports complex is available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, fully qualified, and knowledgeable. BCA has a good scope. In my opinion, B. Tech will be much more helpful as compared to BCA in the future. However, BCA is a very good course. Semester exams are not so difficult but it depend on students. In the BCA, the pass percentage is above 40-45%.
Other: It is helpful for the future, so I chose the BCA course. In my opinion, B. Tech will be 10% better.

Short review of GMCH college for nursing.
Placements: I am from batch 2023 B.Sc. Nursing (currently in second year, 3rd sem nursing). Almost everyone, but placement doesn’t depend upon the college as there is no direct placement. Placement depends upon how good you studied in your course. The highest – many of the students cleared NCLEX from our college. The lowest – can’t say anything. Generally, students prefer to work in AIIMS. Yes, everyone gets a chance for an internship.
Infrastructure: For nursing, it is very poor. Like, only 2 lecture theatres in college and clinical hours are too much. The hostel is combined with the two lecture theatres, which is awful. For attending external subjects, we have to go to E block many times, which is really frustrating. College timing is 9 to 5. No Wi-Fi for students. The library is too good (2 libraries in college). No canteen in college, but in E block of the hospital, there are lots of canteens.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful, and semester exams are moderately difficult. Just need 50 percent to pass the exam. Almost everyone gets passed in this college. But questions are very repetitive. External classes are just a waste of time; you will be unable to understand a single external lecture as they are very fast and complete whole chapters in 2 days, especially anatomy.
Other: Well, fees – 10,000 for the first year (5,000 admission fee + tuition fees). The total is 25,000 for exams, two in a year (12.5k + 12.5k). Hostel fees 25,000, and mess 3,400 per 25 days.

College furniture needs to be changed. There should be more placements.
Placements: There are not too many placements. And the one they are offering is not worth the fee of the course; there should be more placements in the respective field and they should spread awareness among different courses, which we can do along with the graduation to face the competition with some different skills .
Infrastructure: Furniture needs to be changed and renewed; the wooden furniture is not comfortable for a 45-minute lecture; there should be good quality furniture; hostels are lacking in facilities based on their perceptions; the perceptions are increasing year after year, but the facilities do not.
Faculty: Faculty is good, teachers are friendly and supportive, and they teach very well and give extra knowledge. They also restrict us to the syllabus only but with the current issues, they should also add current affairs-related topics and some sessions, particularly based on the current situation of our nation.
Other: The campus is quite good and the crowd is also okay but not what I expected with the name of MCM DAV College.

UIETH PUSSGRC Hoshiarpur Reviews
Placements: The placements for the college are good, above average, with 70% of students getting placed. Students placed so far are in companies like Infosys, Quark, Chic Mic, Pie Infotech, Xenon Sack, Cognizant, Growth Native, Josh Technologies, etc. Past recruiters are Paytm, Sonalika, Tech Mahindra, Zomato, Hitachi, Isuzu, Policy Bazar, etc. The highest package is 13.5 LPA so far, and the average package is 5-7 LPA. Off-campus, students also got 25 LPA from Cisco in 2024. Mechanical students are getting 7 LPA packages also. Technical placements are good compared to core, which are less probable to visit.
Infrastructure: Classrooms don't have AC. Only the library, CS, and IT labs have it. There’s Wi-Fi in the hostel and academic block. Hostel rooms are okay as expected. Mess food is just eatable. There’s a dispensary for medical facilities open from 9 AM to 1 PM on working days, Monday to Friday. There's an annual sports meet of 3-4 days, which consists of various sports and athletic events. There’s a basketball court, football/cricket ground, volleyball court, badminton court, kho ground, and gym.
Faculty: Teachers are good. There’s not much attendance issue or academic pressure (except for some professors). At the end, you yourself have to study and make yourself industry-ready. There are 2 mid-sem exams of 30 marks each, from which the best of 2 is considered for final results. These are easier and have repeated questions from pyqs. The end-sem exam paper is set by UIETH Chandigarh professors and is of 50 marks. Not much though, but not easy like mid-sems either. Passing marks are 40/100, with a minimum of 10/50 qualifying marks in the end-sem.
Other: IT branch is the most popular branch comparatively here, with less academic and attendance pressure. There are annual fests like Law + Cultural Aqueitas (the latest 2024) and the techno-cultural fest Anant (the latest 2019), which usually takes place for 3-4 days. Since there’s a lot of time and fewer distractions here, you can focus on yourself, but most people here fail to do so and end up wasting this golden time. At 80-90%ile, you are getting a government college, and that too PU, which is a great thing.

This college is nice and I prefer this college to take admission.
Placements: My college is Dav College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. My college gives a chance for placement on behalf of their course. But there is not any well chance for placement because college does not provide to much placement; that's why I am giving a two-star rating to my college.
Infrastructure: In my college, there are different buildings of hostels for boys and girls. There is also a different mess for both boys and girls. In hostel Wi-Fi facility provided by college requested by student council of college, which includes: President Lavish Sherawat Vice president Mrinal Steta General Secretary Sourav Panwar Joint Secretary Yaima Oiman.
Faculty: Professors are well educated and knowledgeable; they help students but library staff have very poor behavior. When I took admission in college, then I went to the library to take my ID card, and then library staff behaved rudely with me that I don't read the board outside that my ID card is not here, then why did I come here! It is very poor behaviour.

It's a good college for studies. Campus is good. But placements are not worth it.
Placements: Only some students got placed in the B.A. course. The companies are not verified by the college, and you have to do everything at your own risk. The average package of placement was very low, around 2–3 LPA. I am very grateful for my own placement in this course.
Infrastructure: The rooms of the girls hostel are average-looking. The average size, not many facilities, no Wi-Fi, and the and the library are pretty good, though. The quality of the food is worth the money. The canteen is nearby and provides tasty food that is mostly clean. Medical facilities are provided.
Faculty: The teaching quality is pretty average. Some teachers are very knowledgeable and have a unique teaching style; they care about students, whereas some teachers do not care about students and are rude. They don't even complete the syllabus before exams.

Academics and Faculty

* The faculty members are generally considered helpful, experienced, and knowledgeable in their respective fields.

* Some students mentioned that the professors could be more punctual and humble.

Infrastructure and Facilities

* The university has modern facilities, including Wi-Fi, libraries, and well-equipped labs.
* The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the libraries have a wide range of book collections.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
