DU Cutoff 2020: Check 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Cut off list
Delhi University has released the DU 5th Cutoff 2020 on November 7. Candidates can apply for admission against DU 5th cut off 2020 from November 9 (10 am) to November 11 (5 pm). Read below.
The colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi have released the DU 5th Cut off 2020 on November 7, 2020. Admissions against the fifth cutoff 2020 will begin from November 9 (10 am). The last date to take admission on the basis of the fifth DU 2020 cut off is November 11 (5 pm). The online window to pay the admission fee against 5th DU cut off 2020 will be available from November 9 to November 13 (11:59 pm).
Zakir Hussain is the first college to release the fifth DU cut off 2020. Not all colleges have released the DU 5th cut off. They will be releasing them soon.
Candidates who have registered themselves for admission in UG programmes can check the cut off of DU 2020 by visiting the affiliated colleges/university’s website. Category wise and course wise DU fifth cut off 2020 has also been made available on the admission portal of the varsity. With the help of the DU 2020 fifth cut off, candidates can check the details of minimum cut off marks at which they can get admission to colleges affiliated to DU. Candidates who fulfil the DU 5th cut off requirements need to report at their respective college for the verification of documents.
A special cut off of DU 2020 will be released on November 18, 2020, on the official website of the university.

The Delhi University released the DU 3rd cutoff 2020 on October 24 on the official website -du.ac.in. The cutoff has been released for all courses and colleges with vacant seats. Candidates can apply for admission against the DU third cut off from October 26 (10 am) to 28 (5 pm), while the fee payment can be done till October 30 (11.59 pm). Those who have filled the admission form of Delhi University for UG programmes can check the third cut off of DU 2020 on the official website of affiliated colleges. The consolidated DU third cut off 2020 for Arts and Commerce, Science and BA Programmes of all the affiliated colleges has been published on the Delhi University UG online admission portal. DU 3rd cut off 2020 has been prepared on the basis of the number of vacant seats available after the admission process of second cut off round got over. Candidates who meet the required cut off score displayed on the DU 2020 third cut off list can complete the document verification, admission approval and fee payment process.
University of Delhi will release the DU 2020 fourth cut off on October 31. Admissions against the DU fourth cutoff 2020 will be done from November 2 (10 am) to November 4 (5 pm), while the fee payment can be done from November 2 to 6 (11:59 pm).

DU released the DU 2nd cutoff 2020 on October 17 on the official website. The combined second DU cutoff 2020 for all colleges has been released for BA Programme, Science, and Arts & Commerce. Candidates can apply for admission latest by October 21, 2020.
The affiliated colleges of Delhi University will release the DU 2020 third cut off on October 24. Candidates can apply for admission against the DU third cut off from October 26 (10 am) to 28 (5 pm), while the fee payment can be done till October 30 (11.59 pm). Candidates who have filled the admission form of Delhi University UG programmes can check the third cut off of DU 2020 on the official website of affiliated colleges. With DU 2nd Cutoff, Hansraj College has released its cut-offs for the second list of DU cut-offs 2020 and the most significant drop in cut-offs is in BCom (Honours). The minimum score required for admission to it has reduced from 99.25% in the first DU cut-off 2020 to 98% in this one, a decrease of 1.25 percentage points. Admission remains open also in other popular programmes such as BA Economics and English, with each programme seeing a drop of one mark, or 0.25 percentage points, in their respective cut-offs. In the sciences, admission remains open in all programmes except Anthropology, Botany and Mathematics. In BSc (Hons) Physics, too, there is a drop of one percentage point in cut-off.

DU 1st Cutoff 2020
The first combined DU cutoff 2020 has been released by Delhi University on October 10 for Science, Arts, Commerce and BA Programme. This year, University's Lady Sri Ram College of College has fixed 100 per cent cutoff for BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) Political Science and BA (Hons) Psychology. The first DU cut off 2020 was expected to be out on October 12. However, the varsity released the first cutoff two days earlier, a day after the announcement of CBSE 12th result 2020.

Delhi University is known for announcing high cutoffs every year. Like previous years, this year too, popular DU colleges like SRCC and Kirori Mal have witnessed high cutoffs for courses such as BCom (Honours) and BA Economics (Honours). Cutoff for BCom (Honours) at SRCC is 99.5%, which is 1% higher than last year. The SRCC cutoff for admission to BA Economics (Honours) has increased by 0.25% to 99%. This was 98.75% last year. In Kirori Mal, candidates need to secure over 97% marks for admission to popular courses such as BA English (Honours), BA Economics (Honours) and BCom (Honours).

DU cutoff for admission to a few programmes such as BA Economics (Honours) in Hansraj has seen a marginal rise of 0.50%. Candidates need 98.75% to secure admission to Economics (Honours) course at Hansraj College. Also, Hansraj cutoff 2020 for admission to BA English (Honours) and BCom is 98.00% and 99.25%, respectively.
DU Cut off 2020 is the minimum score a candidate needs to score in order to get admission to various undergraduate programmes offered by the university. Candidates need to calculate the percentage of'Best of Four' subjects and then compare the same with the cutoff marks.

Delhi's St. Stephen's College released the DU first cutoff 2020 for all its undergraduate programmes on September 15. Candidates who meet the first cut off list of DU 2020, must complete the document verification process by visiting their respective department/college of Delhi University and paying the admission fee within 24 hours of the admission approval.
The announcement of DU cutoff 2020 has been delayed this year due to postponement, rescheduling and cancellation of Class 12 Board examinations. While some boards rescheduled the examinations in view of COVID-19, some of the examinations were cancelled, including CBSE Class 12 exams. CBSE, as well as few of the other state boards, declared the Class 12 Results based on the examinations conducted while some boards have marked the students based on an alternative assessment scheme.
This year approximately 3,53,918 students have registered for admission to DU. This is about one lakh more than last year when 2,58,000 students had registered.
Delhi University is likely to release 8-10 DU cut off lists for offering admissions to over 62,000 seats across 91 participating colleges. The declaration of DU cut off list 2020 will continue till October-end. It must be noted that DU 2020 cutoff marks will vary for different categories, programmes and colleges. Candidates can check the DU cut off 2020 for Arts, Commerce and Science streams here. The DU 2020 cut off marks are calculated using the best of four subjects in class 12.
The DU application form was released online. The University had extended the last date to fill the DU 2020 application form till August 31, 2020. Earlier, the last date of filling and submitting the form was July 31. To fill the DU application form 2020, candidates could visit the official website du.ac.in and click on the UG admission portal 2020 tab.
The application form of DU was common for admission to all the UG programmes offered in the all the 91 affiliated colleges of DU, except Jesus and Mary College and St Stephen's College.

What after DU Cut Off 2020 – Admission Procedure
Once the DU cutoff marks are released, it is important to know the next steps in the admission process for UG programmes offered in the affiliated colleges of DU. Check DU admission process after the release of the cut off marks of DU here.
- After the DU cut off is released, candidates have to check the possibility of their admission in the desired college for their preferred course according to the decided DU cut off marks. Further, they need to fill up the admission application form, which can be generated by logging into the DU admission portal and selecting course and college of their choice.
- After selecting the desired college and courses, candidates have to visit the affiliated college to share their unique registration ID with the Teacher-in-Charge and complete document verification. Know the important documents for DU admission 2020 here.
- Post document verification, candidates are required to pay the DU admission fee.
In case candidates want to make changes in their choices of colleges and courses, then they are required to follow the steps mentioned below-
- Cancel the admission and pay the DU admission withdrawal fee
- Take a print out of the cancellation fee and submit it to the admitted college. Also, withdraw the original certificates from the admitted college.
- Follow the complete process again (till step 3 mentioned above) for taking admission to a different course or college of DU admission. Only the balance admission fee is to be paid by the candidates and the remaining amount will be refunded after the last date of DU admission 2020
What is DU Cutoff 2020?
The University of Delhi offers admission to eligible candidates in the available undergraduate (UG) programmes based on the percentage secured by them in class 12 board examinations. There are around 91 participating colleges of the University of Delhi that offer admission to UG programmes based on DU admission cutoff marks. So, this means that aspiring candidates have to either secure aggregate marks in class 12 equal to or more than the cut off of DU 2020
Delhi University releases its Cutoff lists in different rounds every year. In 2018, the varsity released the DU cutoff in 11 rounds, while in 2019, it released only eight DU cut off lists for UG admissions. Thus, it is expected that DU 2020 cutoff may be released in 8-10 rounds.
