Consider this college as a 2nd or 3rd preference .
Placements: Placement is the only good thing in this college. Many good companies like KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, ByJus, and Deloitte come for placements. If you're interested in higher studies, don't join this college or course. Only B.Com (Hons) is worth doing here.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is utter nuisance, very unhygienic, very unhealthy and filty. The hostel bathroom clogs water and urine most of the time and is filled with mud. The hostel food is very bad. The library is pretty good and well-equipped with the latest technology.
Faculty: Professors are very average and tend to make mistakes very often! The professors with Ph.D. degree are supposed to teach the concepts very interestingly but here focus is more on learning than understanding. Semester exams are not challenging at all. If you are from CBSE or ICSE background, the course will be too easy and not challenging.

Good college in India and most companies will come for placement.
Placements: Most of the students get internship from the first year onwards. From the courses B.Com honours most of the students are placed. Around 25 Lacs per annum is the highest package offered. The student's who are interested in internship can get internship from good companies and then college will say about the internship in their placement cell.
Infrastructure: The food of the hostel is good and rooms are available in common block, A block LICET hostel for men and for women there is separate hostel. There is large central library every student must be there in library for 30 hours for each semester. In each class room there will be smart board.
Faculty: The teachers have plenty of experience in teaching and apart from the class there is interacting session between the department. The various clubs organize various events for the students. The method of teaching of the staff is good and it is easily understandable.
Other: The college will organize events between the department. All the department will take part and the winners will be rewarded.

Good accommodation facilities.
Placements: In our college, there are campus interviews and country's top-rated companies come to our college for campus interviews. Students are eligible to apply for campus interviews from the fifth semester onwards. The salary package offered ranges from 5LPA to 12LPA. Students who score above 80% in academics are eligible to apply for placements.
Infrastructure: Life on the campus is just awesome, all the students and staff were so social and gave equal opportunity to all. The infrastructure of the college is also very good and there are more than 20 clubs In the college and I was in the press club. There are more than 150k books in the college library, students can use them for free. There is an E-library also. Hostel rooms are good at Loyola College and there are certain rules so students cannot do anything wrong. The meals in the hostel mess are pretty good and they provide three mess options, a veg mess, non veg mess and metro mess. The registration process for the hostel is simple. At first we should fill the form given by the hostel and if you are selected for the hostel your name will publish on the Loyola College website. Fees structures are, at first, we should pay 23000 and monthly we should pay 4000 to 7000 it depends upon the what mess we choose.
Faculty: The faculty members are very cooperative, helping, understanding, and knowledgeable. There were a total of 82 students in the class. Most of them were Ph.D. degree holders. They used projectors to teach and played some relevant videos to explain. There are mainly 3 exams and these three exams are conducted over a time period of 2 to 3 months. The exams will be neither too tough nor too easy so if you study well, you will score well.

This college prepares men and women for societal development.
Placements: A decent percentage of students are placed in both UG and PG. Some students are placed in big reputed companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, etc. The students are recruited for roles like Investment analyst, Financial Advisory, etc. The students are favored by the training and placement cell of the college which regularly intimates students with information regarding placements.
Infrastructure: The classroom and campus environment is well enough for the teaching and learning process to happen effectively. A big library and Wi-Fi facilities are add on facilities of the college. Foods are very good in the canteen. The college is filled with greeneries that give a fresh environment and positive vibe.
Faculty: Well-qualified and sound-knowledge teachers are available in a 60:40 ratio. The course curriculum and syllabus are very much helpful for a student to get prerequisites for the industry. The exams are very easily passable with a good pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course according to my interest and career plan. Everything is fine and good about the course offered. There are fewer cultural events held due to the pandemic, otherwise many events are held in the college.

It has good faculty, but the teaching quality is below par.
Placements: During my course, only 10% of students were able to get placed. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Tresvista, ICICI, HDFC, etc., were some predominant recruiters. Roles offered were mostly related to customer relationships, and one /two were related to the subject.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college were on par with those any top-tier institution would provide. Loyola College has one of the best libraries in the surroundings with content ranging from economics to philosophy, mathematics to literature, and it also has a wide range of e-content. I am a day scholar, so I don't know much. As far as I heard from my hostel friends, it's nice, and the hostel management does a good job keeping the students occupied with a variety of entertainment and sports activities.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and as everyone knows, 1 or 2 would fall out of place. The curriculum is theoretical-oriented. If you want an analytical-oriented course, then this is not for you. The course curriculum is relevant but still lacking in making students industry-ready. On a scale of 1-10, the difficulty level of semester exams ranges from 6-8. The pass percentage is an aggregate of 40% in both internal and external exams.
Other: The overall experience would be good as the college environment, and the people make the experience even better. I would recommend this college to people who want not much rigorous curriculum and good environment and college life.

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:

* Good faculty with many having Ph.D.s and industry experience
* Course curriculum is regularly updated to reflect current trends and developments
* Placements are decent, with many companies visiting the campus, including top names like Infosys, Wipro, and ICICI Bank
* Average package offered ranges from INR 3-10 LPA
* Scholarships are available for deserving students
* Campus life is vibrant, with many events and festivals organized throughout the year
* Facilities like digital classrooms, libraries, and sports infrastructure are well-maintained
* Hostel life is comfortable, with options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals

Cons:

* Placement rates could be better, with some students feeling disappointed with the offers received
* While many companies visit the campus, the salaries offered may not be as high as expected
* Limited seats available in hostels, with only 5 students from each department admitted
* Some teachers' performance may not be up to par, particularly those in aided posts

However, those seeking extremely high-paying job offers or a more extensive range of job opportunities may want to explore other options.

Hello Ajith, Both courses are good and almost same. It just depends upon your interest. BA in journalism is a regular programme of three years. While B.Voc is also a three year programme but here you have a choice, you can withdraw from the course after 1 year which will be considered as a Diploma.
