National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) has released the subjects for AILET 2024  for LLM courses. AILET 2024 syllabus mentions the topics asked from the subjects including English Comprehension, General Knowledge including Social Science, Current Affairs, History, Economics, Civics, and Geography, and Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Elementry Mathematics. AILET 2024 question paper for the law entrance exam will be based on these subjects only. Therefore, the candidates should check the syllabus for the upcoming entrance exam as under: 

What's new in AILET 2024 LLM syllabus

According to the exam authority, the following changes have been made in the question paper of AILET LLM:

    • There will be NO MORE TWO sections - Section A and Section B
    • There will be 100 MCQs 
    • The questions will be asked from different branches of law.
    • Final AILET 2024 Merit Rank - It will be prepared considering the scores of the candidates.
    • Tie-breaker - If two or more candidates secure the same marks, then merit rank will be decided considering
      • Seniority
      • Computerized draw of lots. 

AILET 2024 Syllabus for Legal Reasoning Section

The candidates should carefully prepare the following topics for legal aptitude section of AILET 2024 question paper as it will include current affairs (related topics) of legal importance as well. Candidates will be asked 50 questions from this section:

  • Torts
  • Vicarious Liability
  • Strict Liability
  • Law of Crimes
  • Contracts and Constitutional Law
  • International Law
  • Intellectual Property Rights 
  • Legal Awareness covering Constitutional Law and Polity

Aapne AILET mein 43.75 score kiya hai. Pichle saalon ke cut-off ke basis par, General category ke liye cut-off 80-90 ke beech hota hai aur OBC category ke liye 60-65 ke aas-paas.
