The preliminary schedule for the December term-end exams (TEE) has already been issued by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Even though they stated in their official notice that the detailed date sheet would be released at a later time, while waiting, students can mail any concerns they have regarding the date sheet to the exam administrators.
The test will be administered in two sessions, with the first shift taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the second shift taking place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The length of each exam, however, will be indicated on the question paper.
IGNOU’s Exam Pattern
- Number of questions: The paper contains a total of 100 questions.
- Section: The question paper is divided into two sections, Part A and Part B.
- Total marks: The exam will contain questions compiling 100 marks.
- Medium: The medium of the question paper will be in both, English and Hindi depending upon the student's choice.
- Duration: Total duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
- Marking scheme: For each correct response 1 mark will be given.
Pre-exam Requisites at IGNOU
Admit card plays a crucial role during the examinations at IGNOU, without which a candidate might not even be allowed to sit in the examination hall. It is generated in an online mode, and students are required to generate the same through their username and password, which the university allots during the time of admission. Post-exam regulations at IGNOU
The university tries to release the results within three months of the exams being completed. They are generated in online mode, and students can have access to the result via the login portal using their personal usernames and passwords.
