The KMAT Session 2 was conducted on November 16, 2024. KMAT session 2 result 2024 will be released in the first week of December 2024, tentatively. KMAT result 2024 for the Session 1 exam was released online. KMAT Session 2 exam registration has closed. The last date to apply for the KMAT 2024 Session 2 was November 10, 2024. KMAT exam 2024 was conducted on September 22, 2024. The KMAT admit card 2024 was released on September 18, 2024. The KMAT mock test was conducted from September 17, 2024, to September 18, 2024. The last date to fill out the KMAT 2024 application form was extended to September 17, 2024, yet again. Earlier, the last date of application was September 12, 2024. KMAT 2024 application form was released online. Candidates could apply for the KMAT 2024 exam online by filling out the online KMAT application form. The exam was conducted in the home-based remote proctored mode.

Q:   When will KMAT examination be conducted?

This year, the KMAT 2024 exam is being conducted in two sessions. The second session KMAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 16, 2024. The first session KMAT exam was conducted on September 22, 2024. This year, the exam is being conducted in the home-based online remote proctored mode. Candidates have to apply for the KMAT exam online by filling out the online KMAT application form.The application process started in June and the last date to fill out the KMAT application form 2024 was September 17, 2024, for session 1. The last date to apply for Session 2 is November 10, 2024. The KMAT exam date was announced on the official website of KMAT India.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for KMAT Karnataka?

A:
Any graduate with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university is eligible to apply. However, if they belong to a reserved category (SC/ST) the minimum qualifying percentage is 45 per cent in aggregate or equivalent CGPAA: Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply. There is no age limit mentioned by the exam conducting authority to appear for the exam. However, candidates must be at least 21 years old at the time of admission.

What is KMAT Karnataka?

KMAT Karnataka or Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is conducted by the Karnataka Post Graduate Private Colleges' Association (KPPGCA) for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses. The organisation was established to provide support to professional education and facilitate and streamline the admissions to postgraduate professional courses. KMAT Karnataka was first conducted in 2003 and was born out of the need to have a unified entrance exam for the Karnataka state. More than 170 AICTE-approved MBA colleges and over 55 MCA colleges offer admissions based on scores obtained in the KMAT exam. Candidates who pass the KMAT Karnataka 2023 exam will be called for further admission process by the participating institutes which includes Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

KMAT 2024 Results

KMAT results 2024 were announced online. Candidates who appear for the exam can download their scorecards online using their login credentials. KMAT result 2024 Karnataka will be announced for both courses. Given below are the steps to know how to download the KMAT result 2024:

  • Visit the website of KMAT India
  • Click on the 'KMAT 2024 Results' button on the homepage
  • Enter Application Number and Date of Birth
  • Click on 'Login' and download the KMAT scorecard

KMAT 2024 Application Process

KMAT 2024 application forms are released online. Candidates who wish to appear for the KMAT Karnataka exam can fill out the KMAT application form on the official website of KMAT, i.e. kmatindia.com. The KMAT application process included the following steps:

  • Creating a new user profile by filling out the KMAT registration form with details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID and phone number, etc.
  • Filling out the complete KMAT application form using the application number and date of birth
  • Uploading the required documents in the prescribed format.
  • Paying the KMAT application fee via credit/debit card, internet banking, UPI or other banking wallets.

 

KMAT 2024 Admit Card

KMAT 2024 admit card is available on the official website for download. The KMAT admit card is a mandatory document to be kept with the candidates during the exam; candidates must download the admit card once released and save it on the desktop. The KMAT admit card 2024 mentions the exam slot, login time and other related information printed on it. Here’s the process to download the KMAT 2024 admit card:

  • Log on to KMAT website: kmatindia.com
  • Click on the 'login' tab by visit the application tab or copy https://4.213.192.2/form-submission/kmat-login
  • Enter KMAT 2024 application number and password
  • Go to the 'admit card' section
  • Click on 'download' button

KMAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Earlier, only candidates with Karnataka domicile were eligible to take the KMAT exam. However, from 2018 onwards, this domicile criterion was removed. As per the new KMAT eligibility criteria, candidates from other states can also appear for the exam. The eligibility criteria mention the requirements for admissions such as educational qualification, minimum marks, and other details. Karnataka KMAT 2024 eligibility is based on the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines. KMAT eligibility criteria is the same for all participating colleges, however, the colleges may mention additional requirements for final admissions.  

Academic Eligibility for MBA

  • Candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline i.e. Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering / Technology from a recognised college/university.

  • For final admissions, candidates will be considered eligible based on their performance in the KMAT exam, academic record, and relevant subjects.

Qualifying marks

  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the final year examination of their Bachelor's degree.
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, the minimum aggregate required is 45 per cent or equivalent CGPA.

KMAT 2024 Eligibility for MCA

  • Candidates seeking admission to MCA courses through KMAT 2024 exam must hold a bachelor's degree in any stream.
  • Candidates must have secured 50 per cent aggregate in the final year examination of their bachelor's degree.
  • Also, they must have studied Mathematics subject at their Class 12 level examinations.

Age Limit to Appear for KMAT 2024

KPPGCA has not mentioned any age limit for Karnataka KMAT. However, candidates must be at least 21 years old at the time of admission.

KMAT 2024 Syllabus

KMAT 2024 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

Step 1:KMAT 2024 Registration

The first step in the KMAT admission process is registration. Candidates can register for KMAT 2024 on the official website of KMAT India. They will be required to apply for Karnataka KMAT 2024 exam online on the official website by filling out the KMAT 2024 application form.

Step 2: Fill out the KMAT 2024 Application Form

KMAT application form 2024 is to be filled with basic details about candidates including their academic qualification, domicile, reservation category and nationality details besides uploading photographs and signatures. KMAT application will be completed only after the application fee is paid and it can be paid in online mode only using payment options such as Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Wallets, etc.

Step 3: Download KMAT Admit Card 2024

Candidates will be issued the KMAT admit card for the exam after they have successfully submitted the application form. The admit card will be available for download in the month of September, in the online mode on the official website. Candidates will be able to download their KMAT 2024 admit card from the official website by entering their login credentials in the admit card window. 

Step 5: Appear for Karnataka KMAT 2024

Candidates need to appear for KMAT as per the scheduled exam date and timings. KMAT 2024 will likely be conducted in the month of September 2024. The exam will be conducted in the internet-based test mode.

Step 6: Check KMAT 2024 result

KMAT result 2024 will be declared online. KMAT 2024 result will mention the qualifying status of candidates, scores obtained in each section, overall scores, and their rank obtained in the exam. 

Note: Candidates must note that only clearing the exam does not guarantee admission to the colleges accepting KMAT scores. After the declaration of KMAT results, candidates who clear the cut-off will be called for the further selection process. The colleges accepting KMAT scores will release their own cut-off and merit list and the final selection will be based on this only.

  1. KMAT 2024 was conducted in a home-based remote online proctored test mode. Candidates taking the KMAT exam must read the exam instructions mentioned on the KMAT admit card carefully to avoid any last-minute hassle.
