Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a popular MBA entrance exam. The KMAT exam is a gateway for admission to the top MBA colleges in the state of Karnataka and is conducted in ten cities. This year too, the KMAT 2024 exam was conducted in the home-based remote proctored test mode, therefore, candidates were not be required to visit the KMAT exam centre to take the test. KMAT exam centres are decided by the KPPGCA.

During the KMAT registration process, candidates need to select their KMAT exam centre. The candidates can choose only one KMAT exam centre for the KMAT exam centre allotment. Candidates should choose the test centre according their preference, as it cannot be changed after the KMAT exam application form submission. Follow the steps mentioned below to know how to select the KMAT exam centre:
- Register on the official website of KMAT.
- Login to the candidate portal and fill the rest of the KMAT application form
- Under the 'test centre' tab, choose the preferred test city.
- Candidates can select only one test centre while filling out the KMAT exam application form 2024.
- Fill up the entire KMAT application form, pay the application fee and finally and click 'Submit'.

Candidates can choose only one KMAT test city according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the KMAT application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates should know that the KMAT test cities cannot be changed once the form is submitted even during the form correction window.

KMAT Exam Centre 2024: Important Points to Remember
Following are a few important points to remember about the KMAT exam centre:
- Test centre details such as name, venue, etc. will be mentioned on the KMAT admit card 2024
- Candidates cannot change their test centres once the KMAT 2024 application form has been submitted
- The exam conducting authority, KPPGCA, holds the right to modify or cancel any exam centre
- Candidates must reach the KMAT test centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam

A verification process will be conducted at every KMAT exam centre, hence candidates must make sure that they reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts along with their KMAT admit card and a photo identity proof. Dos
- Candidates must carry a printed KMAT admit card to the exam centre as it is a very important document without which candidates cannot enter the exam hall
- Digital or soft copies of the KMAT admit card will not be accepted
- Candidates must affix the same photograph on the KMAT admit card which was uploaded in the KMAT application form
- Candidates must carry a photo ID proof (original and photocopy) such as Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card, Passport, Ration Card, etc. and two recent passport size coloured photographs for identification purpose
- Candidates must cooperate with the exam staff in identification and frisking at the exam centre
Don’ts
- Do not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam centre such as mobile, laptop, calculator, etc.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter once the exam starts
- Candidates must not carry any eatables or drinks inside the exam centre. They are prohibited inside the exam hall
- Candidates must also not carry any stationery to the exam centre except ballpoint pen, HB pencil and eraser

Yes, R.V. College of Engineering accepts other entrance exam scores besides KMAT scores for admission to its MCA programme. The institute accepts K-PGCET scores for admission. Hence, candidates with valid scores in any of the mentioned exams can get admission to MCA at R.V.C.E.

KMAT is one of the accepting exams for admission to Asian School of Business, Trivandrum. However, it is not mandatory. Candidates with a valid score in CAT or CMAT can also apply for admission. Besides, aspirants must also complete graduation with at least 50% aggregate for admission.

KMAT cut-offs for R.R. Institute of Advanced Studies cut-off is different every year due to some factors such as number of candidates and toughness level of examination.
