KMAT colleges or KMAT participating institutes are top MBA colleges that accept KMAT Karnataka scores 2024. KMAT Counselling 2024 Procedure
Following is the KMAT 2024 counselling procedure:
- A merit list is prepared by each participating institute after the KMAT results are declared. Candidates are shortlisted according to the cutoff released by each institute. This merit list consists the name of the students who have matched the cutoff criteria and are selected for the further selection process which includes the GD/PI round.

- On the basis of the KMAT scores 2024 and GD/PI scores, a final merit list will be released of the selected candidates and they will be called for the document verification process.

Q: How many rounds are there in KMAT Counseling?
Firstly, KMAT results will be declared then the counselling will start. KKPGCA conduacts KMAT counselling process. KPGCA conducts various conselling rounds for candidates qualifying KMAT exam. The procedure of Counselling has two rounds along with the Group discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The schedule of these rounds is decided by the institute. Councelling will be conducted once the results of KMAT will be announced. The results of KMAT will be announced in third week of November, tentatively. Refer to the KMAT official website where the cut off score of KMAT will be published by all the respective institutes.
Q: How to register for the KMAT Counselling?
Candidates who cleared KMAT, can apply for KMAT Counselling by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the participating institute
Step 2: Click on 'New Registration'
Step 3: Fill in the Application number/ Roll Number
Step 4: Cross check the several details that are prefilled from the KMAT form, including personal and academic details in the registration form.
Step 5: Upload photograph and signature in the specified format and size.
Step 6: Pay the counselling fee via the available payment modes. After successful payment, you will receive a payment confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email ID. Candidates then need to appear for the further selection procedure which includes GD, WAT and PI.
Q: What is the mode of KMAT counselling?
The KMAT counselling is conducted in online as well as offline mode. Candidates who have qualified for KMAT exam must register themselves online through the official website. However, the Personal Interview WAT/GD and document verification round under the counselling process is held offline at the designated helpline centres. Candidates who meet the KMAT cutoff, need to visit the centre for document verification as per their rank and other selection rounds such as PI and GD. The seat allotment process is also conducted online based on the merit, category, and choices filled by the candidate during the registration process. Candidates can check their allotment status on the official website. The entire KMAT counselling process except the PI, GD and document verification round is conducted in online mode.
