Q:   Which exam is tougher, PGCET or KMAT?

A:
The level of difficulty of the exam is the same in both the KPGCET and the KMAT. The PGCET is conducted by KEA for MBA and other postgraduate courses, whereas the KMAT is for MCA and MBA courses in private colleges. 1. Due to eligibility requirements, competition for KMAT is higher than for PG CET because it is a national-level exam. 2. This leads to a higher score requirement at top colleges accepting KMAT. Unlike with PGCET, where you are assigned a college based on rank. 3. The level of difficulty of the questions varies from year to year in KMAT. Most of the moderate-to-difficult questions on the KMAT are in the reasoning and quantitative sections. 4. Since there is no negative marking, candidates can find both exams at their moderate level. 5. The GK questions in the PG CET can be challenging due to the vast syllabus, but mostly the question level is easier.
