AIIMS PG Result Latest Updates

July 26, 2021: INI CET 2021 (formerly known as AIIMS PG) result for July has been announced. Check Here

INI CET 2021 earlier known as AIIMS PG 2021 result has been uploaded online in PDF format. The scores obtained in AIIMS PG 2021 will be accepted by the institute for admission to its MD, MS, MDS, MCh (6 years) and DM (6 years) courses. Candidates who clear the examination can log in to their registered accounts on the PAAR portal and download their scorecards. AIIMS PG result 2021 is released separately for the January and July sessions. Candidates must note that the result of AIIMS PG 2021 is valid for only the current admission session and will not be accepted in the next academic session.

AIIMS PG 2021 Result: How to Check?

As mentioned above, the result of AIIMS PG 2021 is released in the PDF format. Candidates can check their result by downloading the PDF file. However, this AIIMS PG result PDF does not contain the names of all the candidates who have appeared for the examination. Those who are unable to find their details in the AIIMS PG 2021 result PDF can follow the steps given below to check their scores.

  • Select “Results”
  • Click on “Academic courses”

  • Login using registration Id and password
  • Check the result of AIIMS PG
  • Candidates who qualify the examination can download their AIIMS PG scorecard 2020

AIIMS PG 2020 Qualifying Percentile

To become eligible for admissions through AIIMS PG 2020 exam, a candidate must secure a minimum of 50th percentile. However, the number of candidates eligible for participating in the counselling of AIIMS PG 2020 will be eight times the number of seats available. Therefore, candidates must score above the cut off percentile to participate in the AIIMS PG 2020 counselling. 

AIIMS PG Cut Off 2020

For every round of counselling, the total number of participants is equal to eight times the number of seats available. AIIMS PG cut off is the rank obtained by the last candidate eligible to participate in the said round of counselling. AIIMS PG 2020 cut off for the first round of counselling, as released by the institute, has been listed below.

AIIMS PG Result 2020 Tie Break Criteria

When it comes to the marks obtained in AIIMS PG result 2020, it is not uncommon for two or more candidates to score equal marks. In such cases, the ranks of these candidates are decided using the following tie-breaking criteria:

  • Candidate with higher aggregate in the qualifying examination of MBBS/BDS will be placed higher on the merit list
  • If the tie still persists, candidate older in age will be placed higher on the merit list

Interpreting the percentile score reflected in the result of AIIMS PG 2020

Percentile scores reflect a candidate’s performance with respect to others who took the examination. These scores do not depict the marks obtained by the candidate.

To calculate the percentile scores, the following method will be used:

Step 1: Total marks obtained by a candidate is calculated

A. No, the result will be declared in online mode only. Candidates have to log in to their registered accounts on the official website of AIIMS Institute to check the result. 

Q. Will AIIMS PG scorecard be sent by post?

A. No, the institute will not send the scorecards through post. The scorecards can be downloaded by logging into the regsitered accounts on aiimsexams.org.

Q. What are the passing marks for AIIMS PG result?

A. AIIMS PG merit list is prepared on the basis of the percentile scores obtained by the candidates. To qualify the AIIMS PG exam, a candidate needs to score 50th percentile or above.

Q. What after the result of AIIMS PG 2020?

A. After the AIIMS PG result is declared, the institute will release a merit list of the candidates based on their percentile scores. Candidates who make it to this list can participate in the counselling round.
