AP NEET PG 2024 counselling registration process was reopened till November 10, 2024. the AP NEET PG 2024 counselling registration last date with late fee was extended for management quota and competency quota seats at Private Non- Minority, Un-aided Non- Minority and Minority Medical Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2024-25. Candidates from the management quota or competent authority quota are required to pay INR 20,000 as the last fee in addition to the registration fee.Â
Originally, the AP NEET PG Counselling 2024 registration process was conducted from September 27, 2024, to October 4, 2024, 9 PM. The dates to submit the application form with late fee were from October 5, 2024, 9 AM, to October 7, 2024, 9 PM. No other dates have been announced by Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, the counselling authorities.
Earlier, NTRUHS released the rank list, or the list of NEET PG 2024 qualifying candidates from Andhra Pradesh, who are eligible to participate in the AP NEET PG 2024 counselling. The list consists of 8,999 candidates.

Initially, candidates have to register on drntruhs.edu.in to participate in the counselling process. Based on registration, a merit list will be released. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible for AP NEET PG 2024 counselling. The counselling will be conducted for admission to 50 state quota seats and management quota seats. The Andhra Pradesh NEET PG 2024 Counselling will be held online for the allocation of 950 seats under 50 per cent state quota and 403 seats under the management quota. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET PG 2024 counselling for the remaining 50 per cent seats under the All India Quota (AIQ).Â
Candidates should qualify for the NEET PG 2024 to participate in the counselling for AP medical admission 2024. YSRUHS will conduct three rounds of counselling for AP PG medical 2024 admission including a mop up round and an additional stray vacancy round if the seats remain vacant. AP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The Andhra Pradesh NEET PG 2024 counselling eligibility criteria are given below.
- Candidate must have completed MBBS from an institute recognised by MCI
- He/she must have completed the duration of the internship within the slated date as stated by NMC
- He/she must be registered with MCI/SMC
- He/she must have cleared NEET PG, with scores more than or equal to this year’s cutoff
- Only those candidates who are domiciled in the state of Andhra Pradesh or have completed their primary medical qualification from an institute located in this state will be eligible for seats in the government colleges.

AP NEET PG Counselling 2024: The Process
The various steps of AP NEET PG 2024 counselling is listed below.Â
Online registration and application
Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of AP PG Medical 2024 have to register on the official website of YSRUHS. Candidates have to fill the application form for AP PG medical counselling 2024 in online mode. Also, candidates have to pay a non-refundable registration fee to complete the application process for Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling 2024. This fee has to be paid online using a credit card/debit card/net banking.
Candidates who will complete their undergraduate medical qualification from a state other than Andhra Pradesh have to pay an additional fee or the verification fee, during the registration process. Those who will complete their UG degree course from outside India and wish to apply for AP NEET PG counselling also have to pay a verification fee of INR 7,000.
Step to register online and fill the application form:

- Enter NEET PG roll number, rank and date of birth
- Register using a valid mobile number
- Enter the captcha and click ‘Validate’
- Note down the registration number for future reference
- Login using this registration number and NEET PG roll number
- Fill in the application form for AP NEET PG 2024 counselling
- Upload the required documents
- Pay the application fee for Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling 2024
- A payment confirmation message will be displayed

AP PG Medical 2024: Merit list
YSRUHS will release the merit list of candidates who will register online. This AP NEET PG merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in NEET PG 2024. Only those candidates who will be included in this list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process of AP NEET PG 2024.
Exercising web options and counselling
Candidates who will be included in the merit list of AP PG medical counselling 2024 can enter their choices. They can choose among the colleges and courses provided on the official website, in decreasing order of preference. A seat allocation list will published on the official website of YSRUHS, which will be prepared on the basis of the merit position of the candidate and the choices filled.
Reporting to the allocated institute
If a candidate is satisfied with the seat allocated to him/her and wish to continue with it, he/she needs to report to the respective institute for confirmation of the seat. The last date for joining the institute will be communicated to the candidate through the letter of selection. If a candidate fails to report to the institute within the allotted timeframe his/her seat will be carried forward to the next round.
