As per the official guidelines, a total of three rounds of counselling will be held including the mop-up round for JENPAS UG 2025 seat allotment. Q:   Do I need to pay any seat acceptance fee for admission via JENPAS UG exam?

A: 

As per the guidelines issued by WBJEEB, a candidate must pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only), to download the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be cancelled, and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in any future round. The online counselling process can be accessed through wbjeeb.nic.in website for admission to UG level courses.

Q:   What documents are required to participate in JENPAS UG counselling?

A: 

Document verification is done at the time of admission in JENPAS UG counselling. Candidates must present the following documents: Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, JENPAS UG Rank card, Class 10th admit card/birth certificate, Class 12th marksheet, an Undertaking from the candidate as per the Proforma.

Q:   Is JENPAS UG an easy or difficult entrance exam?

A: 

JENPAS UG is an offline (Pen & Paper Mode) entrance exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). As per the exam analysis conducted for the previous year exams, it is a moderately difficult exam. A good preparation strategy will help candidates appear for the exam without much difficulty. JENPAS UG is conducted for the duration of 1.5 hours each for 2 papers (each carries 50 questions). Candidates need to answer Multiple Choice Questions and the medium of the exam is both in English and Bengali language.
