Mop up round result for MP NEET counselling 2024 was declared on October 18, 2024. The counselling result was uploaded online in PDF format and candidates will have to download from the official website. A direct link has been provided below to download the counselling result for mop up round MP NEET 2024 counselling. Candidates allotted seats in mop up round have to report for document verification. The reporting deadline for MP NEET 2024 counselling mop up round was October 23, 2024. 

Candidates could declare prefrences of choice for MP NEET 2024 counselling mop up round till October 14, 2024. Registration facility for mop up round MP NEET 2024 counselling was available from September 27 to October 8, 2024. Candidates have to register on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in and submit application form to participate in the MP NEET counselling for MBBS/BDS admission under state quota seats. Department of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh published merit list for mop up round counselling on October 9, 2024.

Candidates will have to report to complete the admission formalities and document verification. The counselling is held online for seat allotment.  DME, MP will conduct counselling for allotment of 85 percent seats. DME will allot seats based on merit position, choice filled, availability of seats, reservation factors etc. Candidates have to download the seat allotment result from the official website.Those allotted seats have to report physically for document verification. 

It must be noted only candidates who qualify NEET 2024 with the minimum cut off will be eligible to participate in the seat allotment process. MP NEET 2024 counselling starts with online registration, followed by release of state merit list, choice filling, seat allotment result, and reporting for document verification. A merit list is released comprising eligible candidates. They have to fill choices for college and course and lock them for seat allotment. 

Admission to the state quota seats of both, MBBS and BDS courses, is facilitated through the counselling of MP NEET 2024. DME holds counselling for allotment of 85% state quota seats. A total of 37 government and private colleges will be participating in the counselling process. MP NEET counselling 2024 will be conducted in four rounds, first, second, mop-up, and college-level rounds. The mop-up round for MP NEET 2024 counselling will be organised if any seats are left vacant after the second round.

For profile creation, candidates will have to enter roll number, secret key, and captcha. Registration will only be successful after candidates pay both refundable and non refundable fees. MP NEET 2024 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of MP NEET 2024 need to fulfil the following eligibility requirement, set by DME:

Age: Applicant must be at least 17 years old on the date mentioned by the exam conducting body. There is no upper age of the applicants.

Qualification: Applicant must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English as core subjects.

Domicile: Applicant must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Those who have completed their formal education from the state, but are not domiciled in MP, can also apply for MP NEET counselling.

Q:   What is the fees for MBBS in a government medical college of Madhya Pradesh?

A:

The annual tuition fee for MBBS course in a government medical college of Madhya Pradesh is around INR 1,00,000. Fees have to be submited during reporting. Candidates allotted seats have to report in person for document verification. Candidates have to carry the original certificates and allottment letter during reporting.

MP NEET 2024 Counselling Process

Profile Creation:

Candidates have to create profile on the official website before registration. Candidates will have to provide details such as roll number, secret key, and captcha, contact number, bank details to create profile. 

Registration:

Post the announcement of NEET result 2024, all those who have qualified for the examination and wish to participate in the counselling will have to register on the official website of DME. They must note that it is mandatory to register online to fill the application form for the counselling of MP NEET 2024.

Seat matrix and merit list:

DME will release the list of participating institutes along with the seats available in them for each category. This seat matrix will be followed by the release of MP NEET state merit list. This merit list will include the names of all eligible candidates who had filled the application form for MP NEET 2024 counselling.

Choice Filling and locking:

Candidates who have been included in the state merit list can proceed towards choice filling. To access the choice filling option, they will have to log in to the account created during the registration/application process. It is important to note that the candidate who fails to fill the desired choices will not be considered for the seat allotment process. They must also lock their choices before the last date to be considered for the next stages of MP NEET counselling 2024. 

Seat allotment list:

Based on the merit position of the candidate and the choices filled by them, DME will prepare the result for the counselling of MP NEET 2024. The result for MP NEET counselling 2024 is better known as the seat allotment list. DME will release a separate seat allotment list for every round of MP NEET 2024 counselling.

Document verification and confirmation of admission:

Candidates who have been allocated a seat and want to continue with it will be required to report to the respective institute for document verification. They need to carry original certificates, with two attested copies, to the allocated institute for verification. They will also need to deposit the tuition fee for the current year to confirm admission.
