Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) 2024: Exam Date (Feb 23), Registration (Over), Eligibility, Pattern, Result

FET or Fellowship Entrance Test is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission in various fellowship programmes offered under NBE. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is the authority of conducting FET, which is an entrance exam for admission to a Post-Doctoral FNB programme/course. The exam is conducted anually in computer-based mode. 

FET stands for Fellowship Entrance Test. The ranking cum examination is conducted by NBE (National Board of Examinations) for admission to various fellowship programmes that are offered by NBE. Basically, it is an entrance exam to get admission into Post Doctoral FNB programme. FET is the only entrance test for admission to Fellow of National Board (FNB) Courses, Fellow of National Board – Post Doctoral (FNB-PD), Fellowship Programme for International Students (FPIS). The exam is conducted once a year in computer-based mode. FET 2023 exam will be held on March 3, 2024.

NEET FET stands for NEET Fellowship entrance Test. The exam is conducted for admission to fellowship courses. national Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the entrance test in computer-based mode. The entrance exam is conducted for providing admission to the 2-year post-doctoral FNB courses. It is qualifying-cum-ranking examination and is the only entrance test for admission to Fellow of National Board (FNB) Courses, Fellow of National Board – Post Doctoral (FNB-PD), Fellowship Programme for International Students (FPIS).

FET 2024 exam will be conducted in computer-based mode on February 23, 2025. NBE has released detailed FET 2024 exam pattern along with the information brochure on the official website. The question paper will comprise 100 questions and candidates will be given 105 minutes to answer them. All the questions will be multiple choice type. No negative marking will be there in the exam.

Candidates will have to register online to submit FET 2024 application form. The last adte to submit FET 2024 application form was January 16, 2025. It must be noted offline or any mode of application will not be accepted for FET 2024. As part of registration, candidates will have to provide basic details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID etc. A login credential will be generated after successful registration. 

Candidate must possess a postgraduate medical degree (MD/ MS/ DM/ MCh/ DNB) in the relevant specialty from a recognised institute. Those who complete the postgraduate degree qualification on or before the cut off deadline as menioned in the official brocure will be eligible for FET 2024. Candidates must note there is no upper or lower age limit for the candidates applying for FET 2024. He/ she must possess a permanent registration certificate from the Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council.

Aspirants will have to apply online for FET exam. The application form is released on the official website. Candidates will have to register first and fill details in the application form. Paying exam fee is cumpulsory to submit application form for FET. The whole application process for FET has been explained below:

• Log in using the user Id and password
• Fill all the details in the application form
• Uploading the photograph and signature
• Choose the preferred test city
• Submission of Fees
• Print the filled application form with transaction Id printed on it

FET exam pattern is released along with the official information brochure. The exam pattern comprises crucial details related to exam including mode and medium of exam, total number of questions asked, allotted time, and marking scheme. According to the existing pattern for FET, the exam will be held in computer-based mode for admission to fellowship courses. The medium of the exam will be English. The question paper will comprise 100 multiple choice questions divided into two parts A & B. Candidates will be provided 105 minutes to answer them. There is a provision of the negative marking in the exam.

No. NBE will not send FET admit card to candidates. They will have to download the admit card online. The admit card link will be activated on the official website NBE. Edu. In. Candidates can download the hall ticket for FET exam by providing details such as application ID and password. It must be noted that admit card can be downloaded any number of times till exam day. But candidates are advised to download it in advance to avoid any last minute technical glitches. 

FET result will have to be downloaded online. Candidates who will score 50 percentile will be declared qualified for admission to fellowship Courses / clubbed group. Those who qualify the exam can download scorecard with user ID and password, which was generated at the time of registration.
