The AIIMS BSc Paramedical notification for the upcoming session will be released in March 2025 tentatively. Though AIIMS, Delhi released the AIIMS BSc paramedical exam dates and result dates on the official website, and according to it, the exam will be conducted on June 28, 2025. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode only. However, these dates are tentative and authorities might change it as per the situation demands.  

Along with the release of the notification, the authorities will also open the registration window in March only. It will be released on the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. Students have to first do a basic registration followed by generating a code and then complete the final registration. Applicants who want to fill out the AIIMS BSc Paramedical application form must check the eligibility criteria before filling the form. 

Only those candidates who will complete the application form will be issued the AIIMS BSc Paramedical admit card in online mode. It will be released in the second week of June 2025 tentatively. After the commencement of the exam, the authorities will declare the AIIMS BSc paramedical result on July 4, 2025, in online mode.

What is AIIMS Paramedical Exam?

AIIMS paramedical exam is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. The examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate BSc paramedical courses offered by AIIMS campuses in Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, and Rishikesh. AIIMS paramedical examination is conducted once every year in online mode. AIIMS paramedical exam 2025 is scheduled to be held in July 2025 tentatively. 

All candidates who wish to apply for the paramedical courses in AIIMS will have to register themselves on the official website of the institute using a valid email ID and a mobile number. Candidates whose basic registrations will be accepted will have to log in again for code generation. Without the RUC, candidates will not be able to submit the AIIMS paramedical 2025 registration forms. 

Q:   How to get admission in AIIMS Paramedical?

A:

Admission to all paramedical courses in AIIMS begins when registration of the medical entrance exam. The registration for the exam will tentatively begin in February 2024 and the basic registration will continue till April 2024. Candidates wiill have to register for the exam and then appear for the entrance exam. It is on the basis of the marks obtained in the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam that candidates can further participate in the counselling. AIIMS will also release a cutoff which will indicate if candidate qualify to participate in the counselling.

Q:   When will the application form for AIIMS paramedical courses be released?

AIIMS Delhi will began the registrations for AIIMS paramedical courses on March 5, 2024 for the basic registration level. The final registration window opened on March 12, 2024. After basic registration, candidates will have to generate course-specific code to proceed for the final registration. If all the details furnished by the candidate are found to be correct and matches the eligibility criteria then the basic application will be accepted. The AIIMS paramedical registration follow the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) initiative taken by AIIMS to simplify the registration process for the entrance examination wherein the basic details of the candidates are saved in the AIIMS database, reducing the chances of errors and mistakes during the final registration process.

AIIMS Paramedical 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the paramedical courses in AIIMS are advised to go through the eligibility criteria for the desired course before filling out the applications. If any candidate is found to be ineligible for the course, their application will be canceled. Also, the registration fee paid by such candidates shall be forfeited. To avoid complications, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements before filling out the AIIMS paramedical 2025 registration form.

Eligibility criteria for AIIMS paramedical courses

  • They must be a citizen of India
  • They must have attained the age of 17 as of December 31, 2025
  • They must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised institution/board

Mandatory subjects in Class 12

Candidates applying for Bachelor of Optometry, BSc Medical Technology in Radiotherapy, or BSc (Hons) Medical Technology in Radiography courses must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology/Mathematics. For all other courses, Biology is compulsory.

Marks in Class 12

  • For General/OBC/EWS category candidates: 50 percent
  • For SC/ST category candidates: 45 percent 

Q:   Is NEET required for admission to AIIMS Paramedical?

A:
No, NEET UG is not required for admission to AIIMS paramedical. AIIMS Delhi conducts seperate exam for entry to paramedical courses. It is mandatory for candidates to appear for AIIMS paramedical exam in order to get admission in paramedical courses offered by AIIMS. The entrance examination is conducted in online mode and consists of multiple-choice questions based on the syllabus of the 10+2 level.

Yes, you can apply for any of the paramedical courses offered by AIIMS provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the institute. AIIMS Paramedical Admission Process 2025

Admissions to the paramedical courses offered by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences will be based on the marks obtained in this entrance examination only. The institute will not accept the scores of any other examination for admission to AIIMS paramedical courses. Candidates are, thus, advised to go through the admission process for these courses.

AIIMS paramedical registration 2025

The registration for AIIMS paramedical 2025 is a three-step process, namely basic registration, code generation, and final registration. Candidates must complete all three stages to apply for the desired course. All candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee at the end of final registration.  Candidates must also reserve copies of the forms that are filled during the AIIMS paramedical 2025 application process.

Candidates who will fill the application form for AIIMS Paramedical 2025 will only be issued the admit card. AIIMS Paramedical 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Read the important AIIMS paramedical exam day guidelines to know what is expected from the candidates on the D-day at the exam centre: 

  • To avoid delay in beginning the test, candidates must report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes in advance
  • Candidates must report to the exam centre by 8.45 am
  • No candidate shall be allowed to enter the exam centre after 9.45 am
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before 11.30 am
  • Candidates must carry the admit card, a valid photo ID proof and one passport-sized photograph on the exam day
  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry any textual material such as books or notes to the exam centre
  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry any electronic device such as a mobile phone, Bluetooth or calculator to the exam centre
  • Also, wristwatches, ornaments, bags, belts, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre

Q:   Is AIIMS paramedical entrance exam tough?

Provided that AIIMS is one of the prestigious medical institutes of the country and candidates compete for admission to only 670 seats, this makes it evident that cracking the exam needs thorough preparation. Candidates preparing for other medical exams such as NEET UG, INI CET AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing will find the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam comparatively easier. The difficulty level of the exam is easy to moderately difficult.

AIIMS Paramedical Result 2025

AIIMS Delhi will release the result of AIIMS Paramedical BSc courses in online mode within a week after the conclusion of the exam on July 4, 2025. The result will comprise the PDF file of the AIIMS Paramedical exam. Applicants whose names will be mentioned in the file will be declared qualified in their respective categories.  

All the applicants who will qualify the exam will have to further appear in counselling process. Applicants will be given time to upload their certificate or else they will be treated as a General category for counseling purposes. Candidates other than those whose names will not be mentioned in this list will be able to check Rank and Marks by logging into the system.

AIIMS Paramedical Counselling 2025

AIIMS Delhi will conduct AIIMS Paramedical in multiple rounds which will be 1, 2 and 3. As the entire counselling process will be managed online, candidates will have to visit aiimsexams.ac.in to participate in the counselling events. Students will be able to exercise their choice between the given duration. The seat allotment of AIIMS Paramedical 2025 will be released after the choice-filling is over.

The below-mentioned process needs to be followed to participate in the AIIMS paramedical counselling:

  1. Login to their MyPage for BSc Paramedical Courses Online Seat Allocation
  2. BSc Paramedical Courses Online Seat Allocation portal will allow candidates to make choices of seats the portal will be opened for dates specified as per the schedule released in the official notification by AIIMS Delhi.
  3. All the candidates who have been allocated seats in the 1st Round are required to log to their MyPageCandidates can make either of the two choices:
    1. OPTION 1: ACCEPT allotted seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of Seat Allocation
    2. OPTION 2:  ACCEPT allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in 2nd ROUND of Seat Allocation 
  4. All the candidates who are allocated seats are mandatorily required to report in person at the allotted college/institute with original documents and a Demand Draft of INR 1 Lakh.

Q:   How many seats are there in AIIMS paramedical?

A:

There are a total of 171 paramedical seats available in AIIMS for paramedicla courses. This excludes the 571 seats B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing seats offered by the institute basis the same examination. However, the number of seats in AIIMS paramedical courses varies from year to year. In 2023, there were addition of seats in Paramedical courses at AIIMS Kalyani & AIIMS Rishikesh for academic session of August 2023 in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (MRIT), Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), and Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) programme. Therefore, the exact number of seats available for each course depends on the announcement made by the respective AIIMS institutes.
