On the evening of November 30, 2019, the National Testing Agency or the NTA has announced the extension of application form submission of GPAT 2020 to December 10, 2019. In purview of request to extend the dates so that candidates who missed the previous deadline of November 30 can apply for GPAT 2020, NTA has extended the application deadline.

GPAT 2020 is conducted by NTA for admissions in post-graduate level programs (M. Pharma) across various institutes accepting the GPAT score in India. All the institutes and colleges approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) and AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) accepts GPAT scorecard.
NTA has extended the last date to submit the GPAT 2020 application form till December 10, 2019, candidates who wish to apply for GPAT 2020 can now apply. Candidates can apply for GPAT 2020 by visiting the NTA’s official website. The GPAT 2020 registration and application process is completely an online process. Candidates can pay the application fee via online mode using debit/credit card or e-wallets.

- For communication purpose, a valid email ID is required
- To inform about the exam updates via SMS, a valid mobile number is required
- A valid/working debit or credit card or net banking details for application fee payment is required
- All the academic details such as 10th mark sheet to confirm date of birth and graduation mark sheet to assure the minimum eligibility are required
- Passport size photograph in JPG/JPEG format having size between 10 KB to 200 KB
- Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format having a size between 4 KB to 30 KB

Candidates should cross check their eligibility before applying, if any candidate found in-eligible his/her candidature will be dismissed. Below is the eligibility criteria for GPAT 2020
- The candidate should be an Indian national
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) which is a four-year course after 12th
- Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply
- Candidate of any age can appear for GPAT 2020
- Candidates having a B. Tech (Pharmaceutical and fine chemical technology) or Equivalent degree are not eligible
GPAT 2020 Result
NTA in its annual exam schedule has mentioned that the GPAT 2020 result will be announced on February 7, 2019. Candidates will be able to check their result by visiting the official website of NTA, gpat.nta.nic.in.
Candidates can check their GPAT 2020 result by following the mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website of GPAT, ntagpat.nic.in
- Click on 'View GPAT 2020 Result' button appearing under new notification section
- Candidates are required to login using their application number and password/ date of birth
- Press the 'Sign in' button and then on the 'View result' button
- The candidate's GPAT 2020 result will be displayed
- Candidates can download or save the online scorecard
NTA will announce the merit list right after the GPAT 2020 result, though no exact date has been announced yet. The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks and percentage obtained in the GPAT examination 2020. The merit list mentions the overall rank at All India level, independent of the candidate’s category.
