CBSE will be conducting the CBSE 10th Compartment Exam 2020 soon. The Board is expected to release the exam date in a day or two.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced the CBSE Class 10 Results 2020 on July 15, 2020. This year, the CBSE 10th Result pass percentage has seen a marginal increase from 91.10 per cent last year to 91.46 per cent. The number of students who had registered for CBSE 10th Exam 2020 this year was 18,85,885, out of which 18,73,015 had appeared for the exam. Out of which, the number of students, passed was 17,13,121. The number of students who have been placed in compartment category is 1,50,198 students which are 8.02 per cent of those who appeared for the 10th exam this year.
Only 9.84 per cent of the total students who had appeared for CBSE 10th Exam 2020 managed to secure above 90 per cent in aggregate. The number of 95 per cent scorers also decreased. In comparison to last year were more than 57,000 students secured over 95 per cent in aggregate this year, only 41,084 students secured more than 95 per cent.

Those candidates who were not able to clear the exam in one subject or have not appeared for the exam in any one subject have been placed in the compartment category. CBSE will be conducting examinations for these students soon. The CBSE Compartment Exam 2020 Date for CBSE Class 10th students will be released by the Board soon.
With an aim to reduce mental stress from students, the CBSE has decided to replace the term 'FAIL' with 'Essential Repeat'. Hence, in the result declared no “FAIL” term will be mentioned in the documents issued to the candidates and the result hosted on the website.
